Zen, do you have a Target store in your area? They might have woks there. Yes, my mom's hearing ear cat is too lazy to assist her...LOL! He was given to my mom after my dad passed away, for company. As my mom's hearing has been fading in recent years, she often couldn't hear me at the door, so I'd call for her cat and he'd go and fetch her. Now, the lazy sluggard won't haul his butt up off his "comfy" rug to go and get her.
Nora, that really sucks about your debit card, but good for your bank for catching on so quickly! In this age, it's so easy to get ripped off.
As for the target peeps, I feel badly for the manager. Mrs. Fen and I know just how badly it sucks to get hacked. We're still digging out of the financial abyss that was caused from massive hackings of our client websites last summer. There are people who dedicate their lives to hacking into and stealing from companies/businesses. Pure evil.
Glass, that's correct about hearing aids. After two months of exploring, we finally got a hearing aid that actually fits my mom's tiny right ear canal, so for the first time in years she's actually "hearing" in that ear. And what she's hearing is not what she expected! She's supposed to start out slowly and work her way up to getting used to them.
Oh, mama...who is having the litter box issues? Maybe Axl will have to go. My dearest friends merged their cats when they moved in together and the cats destroyed that house. In order to sell the house, they had to rip up carpet, replace the carpet and sub-flooring beneath it, remove drywall that had been urinated on, mop boards, etc. Then, we had to paint every surface with Killz primer. The amount of labor and money spent to rescue that place was incredible. First off, have the offending kitty checked out by a vet...but if this is a territorial thing, it's not worth it.
