One Step at a Time - March 2014

Quick post, but I'll be back later...
K9, years ago, one of my friends applied for a city cop job. She had a juvenile arrest record, but had not committed any crimes as an adult. The problem was, when the application asked if she'd ever been arrested, she put "no". She believed it was unnecessary because her juvenile record didn't carry over to her adult years.

It cost her the job. Of course, they knew about her juvenile record, even though the rest of the world did not. It sucked, because she would have been a good cop. She went on to become a State Trooper. My point is, it doesn't matter if you've done stuff, as long as you're honest- and you've been completely transparent. I am certain you have this job nailed. :h

Glass, I LOVE your "Droopers" idea! Still, I think we may be a little too "hawt" for some of those seniors to handle...:H

Well what if your neither a Drooper or a Flopper but more of a .....Bopper....as in teeny bopper because if my boobs were any smaller they'd be inverted....or I'd be Cher- either one works.

Dottie 200 days is just outstanding!! :wd:roud: you are really leading the charge!

K9 that must have been incredibly sweet to have the Police dudes swagger over to your cubicle in front of little Ms. Bossy- a real Kodak moment! Fingers crossed for you sweetie and VERY happy to hear Sierra is doing well.

Pauly, Madison had to have glasses several years ago.
She also broke her first pair and then pretty much ignored the second pair...last year at her exam, the Dr. Said she was just fine. Didn't need them...I have no explanation- just that I'm out about 250.00 dollars...

Zenny I'm hoping I dodged the HRT bullet with juicing and natural supps and remember I'm still on bi polar melds...there's no question that not drinking has made all the difference in how I went in and how I will come out if menopause. I use the cream too but don't see much of a difference- the main thing (and I'm sure you hear this all the time ) is EXCERSISE...Sad but true....I was hoping to just sit my butt on the bed and eat popcorn for the next 10 or 30 years...yes I'm going for the 80's.....I miss my big hair!

HoneySoup how are you? And Nursie and Audrey???? Don't stay away too long ladies or we will send out the hounds!
              Love you all:h

I just posted this in the Nest but I had to share it here too. Sierra just cracked me up big time. We were talking about my past and my jail stints and such (you know, typical mom-daughter stuff...LOL) and she told me I should write a book and call it: "Diablo Took My Shoes: A Memoir" :H:H

Glass - I laughed and laughed at 'Droopers'. I'm in - and I can lead the way with the droopy. :H

K9 - I still have everything crossed just to be safe. But, you've GOT IT. :wd:

Zen - I'm so glad that you are getting all the hormones figured out. I'm sure that's going to help you feel better.

Mama - I hope that you went home & flopped. Must have been bad if your boss was going to pay the bail.

Ok - I'm going to post this if I can. Internet beginning to act screwy.

                    If I don't make it back - LOVE & HUGS -

YAY Dottie! Well done you good thing!

Fen ?A&F isn?t very well known here (thanks goodness!) but I did vaguely hear something about some sort of discrimination scandal or other a while ago. That skit was hilarious so I?m filling in the blanks and getting a pretty good picture.

K9 ? wow ? you guys do some weird things over there!! A lie-detector test? REALLY!!!! Isn?t this for a dispatcher job? And why were they in your cube if that?s not where you work? Are you in the same location?

Mama ? I?m glad your boss seems to be supportive!

You can dig the ventilation... or you can sing the blues

I didn't come this far to only come this far.

So..... Diablo caused all the problems, Niner??? Good to know. I may need to use that one. Your stories about The Captain and The Chief make me think of "Dexter". You don't have a Dexter in your office do you????
Kradle, I had no idea you were taking bi-polar meds. You are my hero, woman!! You juggle so much and do it so well.:h
Morning Glass - my secret virtual girlfriend!:h
Nora - you did not give us ANY details about Scott's visit....SPILL!!:goodjob:
I have to go to a three hour training session, so won't be around most of the day.
                            Keep rockin' it Dots!
