One Step at a Time - March 2014

I have a solution for K9's broken tooth removal. We can all get together at my cabin, with cocker spaniel in tow. K9 can tie the string around her tooth and to said dawg...we wait for approximately one minute, until a skwerl, turkey, mouse, wood-chuck, raccoon, deer, feral cat or chipmunk comes by...dog takes off like a shot! K9's tooth is out. :H

Holy crap on a stick is becoming a firm fave in my head at the moment!

Fen... I love Lana del Ray... she's got such a unique sound.

I just got back from visiting Cheryl's mum (and Cher too lest we forget in the excitement of her mum being here!). Her mum is a riot and I want to grow up to be just like her!

Mama... just what you needed to hear about Bri... not!!! Her old boss may not have Bri's best interests at heart! :H Sounds like there's a bit of bad blood there, to put it mildly.

I'm dabbling with Dexter on Netflix just now too. I was into it a year or so ago. I hardly ever watch TV any more, I should call Comcast and cut back on my channels and save a bit of lucre.

Glad you had a good dinner Dottie. I can't decide if I'm hungry or not... still feeling a bit crap with this darn virus. Did you say you were having dinner on a train?

What is Cheryl's mum like? Do tell.

Oh, that is why Mrs. Fen killed our cable...too much $ for the scant channels we watched. Unfortunately, we can only reliably receive a couple of our local channels, though we should be able to get more. That's why I'm hooked on radio.

Zen not dinner on a train but before dinner we attended a presentation on a train trip. Next September in Colorado. 8 days I think. Need to see if our doggie sitters are available. It looked like fun and our friends are going too so something fun to look forward to.

That sounds like a fun trip Dottie! Would you sleep on the train too?

Fenny... Cher's mum is 80 and she has more energy than most 50 year olds. She's a funny, nice, vibrant person and all Cher's friends love it when she comes to visit... :h

I couldn't kill ALL of the cable... think Bill would have something to say about that when he went to watch "the game"! :H

Nope this train doesn't have a sleep over on the train. Will be in hotels. But train trips every other day. We love trains.

So which was it Zen? If you intervened, how do you know it went on for 30 minutes?

Anyway ladies, this just makes me sick so I'm out of here. Bye.:h

I haven't been on a train in years Dottie. I've always fancied doing an Orient Express trip...

Because I spotted her in my side yard, sitting with the dog, about 30 minutes before I took a closer look. I didn't know what she was doing until I got a feeling something wasn't right and put my glasses on and peered out the kitchen window.

All the residents here have access to my yard... we are villas... so she wasn't trespassing and I didn't automatically think there was anything untoward.

Anyway, Glass, I don't have to justify myself and I think you've made your point.

It's really shocking how expensive train travel is! As much as flying. Really doesn't make sense, does it?

I'll bet it's expensive. The carriages look absolutely beautiful... like stepping back in time...
