Same here, sadly. Probably why I'm able to drink everyday.

Having a hangover doesn't help withdrawals but it sure helps the resolve.

Remember how you feel today perhaps write it down. It is a hard battle but gets easier I had a near relapse over the past few days but remembering the hangover etc. as well as posting here stopped it dead in its tracks.

Drove to the half marathon this morning and as it was so cold and windy and no cafes were open I decided I might as well just jog around the course. I chatted to other runners, looked at the beautiful snowy Snowdonia scenery, nearly got blown into the sea,ran up the hills, never got out of breath or stressed and finished only a bit slower than usual. Won the age category prize worth ?80
Need food now:H

I'm not down, I just feel shite.

White wine. Had 2 1/2 bottles yesterday, I knew that should invoke a hangover.

I keep trying to remember hangovers when I want to drink but it's a bit like childbirth, the memory of the pain fades.

I often wonder if I'd stop earlier if I'd gotten hangovers. Roxy, treat yourself like a baby for the next few days - sleeping, eating and having long hot baths really worked for me. And lots of water of course. And do mindless things - tackling War and Peace may not be a good idea.

Mrs A you must be the only person on the planet that goes for a casual jog round Snowdonia.

He survived his trimmer but has to wait 'til Thursday when the bloke (he's an electrician) comes back from Lanzagrotty, to see if is fixable................and I'm afraid the carrot cake's for work.............might let him have a slice tho.

Hi again, my God twice here in a day, my life must be getting easier lol

Was very virtuous, made lamb stuffed with pesto, dauphanoise potatoes and loads of roast Med veg so no KFC. The friend who's taken on the parrot stayed ages so lots of nattering and a relatively easy day onne I'd slung the dinner in the oven and opened the packets of pudding :H

Time to get sorted for work now, why do weekend hours only have 30 minutes in them?
