A lovely cool morning here. Looks like the Frog was right and summer is indeed over.

Unlike some of you, I did not do the weekly shop yesterday, so I have that planned. Not much else, though.

A beautiful day here - although the early mornings have a slight nip in them. Guess the inevitable winter is on its way.

Interesting thing about last night: I mentioned drinking thoughts yesterday, but last night at the restaurant I did not even think about drinking. I really don't get the way my brain works (or not, as the case may be :blush.

Off to get my hands dirty in the garden: there's watering, planting (and unplanting - better known as weeding) to be done.

Morning Tipps Dreamy Dreamy and Anon. Awake since silly hour and i'm supposed to go out this morning but not sure if i'll to cancel and try get back asleep but i'll see how I feel in an hour. I tend to get headaches if I don't get enough sleep. Just having coffee now. I went to another AA meeting yesterday afternoon and also got to the library and Woodies DIY garden centre. Got some plants and compost which I will start on this afternoon. Love the funky mugs dreamy. Enjoy the day in Wales Anon and take it easy if you are not up for running. :hiya: Foxy - I got some great herb plants in Tesco yesterday.
Our garden is small -and MrS OWNS it apparently - so going to plant them in long boxes & have loads of fresh herbs for soups ,salads etc during the summer.
Fresh mint for my Mojitos ( af of course) yum .......

Did I tell you he is a twin and if the other fella does something then we have to do it.
The latest now is Neville Maguire's place....?80 a head for a meal -I think not . I ain't that hungry.
Then they had to pay for a B&B 'cos they both drink:H
So the guts of ?300 for a night away :egad:

Morning all! far too lazy to read back this morning. Absolutely shattered after yesterday's cleaning marathon. Got a quick look here yesterday morning then hauled off to clean before I could even say good morning.

OH saw different consultant (one who specialises in his condition) who told us bird proteins can hang around a couple of years or more so to thoroughly clean (as in walls, ceiling and all furniture) every room the bird had been in i.e. the entire bloody house. New multi-filter hoover and steam cleaner purchased Friday and they've not been switched off since, so far we've done his magic studio :sigh:

Plans for today - tip run (where else after cleaning marathon?); firggintesco as we have company for lunch and nowt to eat, plus if you spend a ?40 you get a fiver off next week so I might as well have that, 2 dog walks and try and tidy the rest of the house up as all the junk he doesn't want in lovely clean and tidy studio adorns the rest of the place.

Rain here today after what could well have been a spring day yesterday but I might go mad and have another cup of tea before the hound's first walk - opening the back door earlier and the dog took one look at the rain, turned round and got back on his sofa so he's as keen as I am.

Have a lovely day everybody, I fancy spending the day how Molly is, wonder how a KFC family bucket would go down for lunch?
