Hope yis don't think me a deserter?? Just been very busy between home and my place getting sorted for the big day. Holy feck cant believe how quick it's come around! Anytime had a chance to post someone came along or phone rang and disturbed me! Back in my house tonight but heading home again tomorrow and then for Dublin on Thursday :egad:

Not sure what I'm loving more- NoSugars' new name or that recipe for PB cookies! :goodjob:

NS-Well howdy to a Corndog from a Cheesehead!!:H:l:l Ok, the cookies sound fab...and all they need is to be on top of vanilla Haagen-Dazs (sp?) ice cream!!!

Sweetie:h-Rusty-headed...yup, that would be me. I used to HATE my hair....now I love it. Sweetie...do you look anything like Nicole Kidman? She looks smashing with those rusty tresses, I think. There are so few of us natural redheads out there, don't ya think.

:H I wish Rusty!! A few pounds difference between Nicole and meself I thinks!! Once was told I looked like Jean Butler from Riverdance but that was someone had a few pints on board!! Like you I used to hate the colour and now as I'm starting to like it- am finding more and more white strands Boo hoo!!

It just occurred to me, Rusty, that maybe all of the nonUSmidwesterners don't know the rule about PB cookies: Make a ball and then smash it down with a fork twice, at right angles so all the lines cross. I just assumed that step so in case this is a regional thing, you'd need to do that. It would take hours for the balls to cook!

Hi Army, just thought I would post about your diminishing ones. When I joined MWO Subs was the thread then after some "dust ups" people started to leave. It is now a very small, intimate thread.

I think as people sober up they get on with their lives minus MWO. We had a meet up in Seattle years ago and bonded well, as you all have with your meet ups. And, like Molls said you are entwined in each other's lives at a very high level, and after our isolation when drinking it's important to keep the connection vibe growing in a forum you can be honest and laugh and complain.

I swear I know Joey and J.C.'s kids, lol.

Just one more thing, I've been laughing about Mrs. T on that shopping trip, years ago my husband went out to buy me a gift and came back exasperated and told my daughter things were so expensive. How come mom buys all those thing for $10 and $20!!

Keep going army, you are important.
