Nope.............I'll do mine when we're at the caravan and call it Earth Week.........no electricity at all there.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Undies do strange things all the time, anyway.

No point in peeing in Tips's pool - he's swimming with dolphins. In the sea. Wake him up during his nana nap, perhaps? That would be really nasty.

Caravan sounds marvellous, JC - where's it to be parked? Or whatever is done with caravans. Put on its steadies?

It's my brothers but he gave us a half share for Christmas 2012.

It's a static one put on steadies ( I suppose that's their proper name)............no electricity, a wee cooker run from propane or calor gas and a big pot belly stove for heat. It's set in 8/10 acres of wood he owns the woods) just over the border in Scotland and no-one about for miles.

              About 10 miles from here.

                Dearest Elsie
When you come back -can you tell me what type of juicer you have.
This will be an investment and want to get a really good one - that I won't want to feck it out the window after a week.
I have been making soup from veg all winter - basically pureed veg
So with summer coming I would like to switch to juicing / pulping the raw veg.
I would like to maybe include the whole veg without taking the pulp out - the fibre .

Any ideas on a good brand ..... Germany is good for these things I'm told ?

                Yours Sincerely

                    Good Morning, Army!:hello2:

Happy Mother's Day to all my friends in the UK....and all you lovely mothers out there. Our Mother's Day in the USA is the second Sunday in May.

Satz:l sorry things didn't go well with your Mum. How frustrating! I loved your yawning baby pic and especially this...it made me laugh:
People are EXHAUSTED 'cos they "miss the hour" FFS it's an hour -build a bridge & get over it.:H
Dreamy: you are on a hilarious roll today...if only I could even THINK of the way you phrase things: Undies do strange things all the time, anyway. No point in peeing in Tips's pool - he's swimming with dolphins. In the sea. Wake him up during his nana nap, perhaps? That would be really nasty.
:H No, I did not switch off for Earth week....I had every room in my house lit up last night.

Jackie-I bet your cake for your MIL will be dee-lish! Post a pic!

Well, my pinkeye is getting better so I now longer have the red eyes of a rabbit! But now I am packing to leave for Minnesota...6 1/2 hour ride. At least it isn't snowing!

Big hellos to Molly (I miss you...sniff, sniff), Tip, LC, Spidey, Rox, Anon, Fire.....happy Sunday!

Hi Rusty Glad to hear your pinkeye is getting better:l Had conjunctivitis as a child and do remember it as being very uncomfortable. Are you travelling to Minnesota for work?

Nothing exciting was done Rusty- had to go get an infected toe seen to!! Had a nice relaxing day after that though

Afternoon Sweety and Good morning Rusticles.

Ended up not making it,Rusty..........Ma & Pa in Law are going for lunch at SIL's house. Anyone want 2 boiled oranges.

At least it was before lunch and not after, Sweety.

Ach the only thing about the caravan is the errrrrrrrrr lack of bathroon facilities..........think chemical toilet and woods.

The washing bit's easy........... packet of baby wipes and half a kettle of hot water do wonders...........no-one in the village has shied away from us...............yet.

What would we be doing with 2 boiled oranges Jacks?? Sure if ye have all the ingredients to hand why not go ahead and bake the cake?? We could help with that, I'm sure!

Never thought of bathroom facilities!! Would be challenging alright but suppose if there's no-one else about ye could manage it! Makes me think of how grateful I should be to have the luxury of a flushing loo, hot running water and a bath and shower to hand.

Have ye any special plans for today?

Probably no such thing as a wee drop of wine for us
-though I will make an admission here - I still harbour thoughts - that maybe some day I will test the waters ........
Could be when I'm 90. Back to day 1 on my 90th :H
These are MY thoughts and I will deal with them ...... not encouraging anyone.
Kinda like when my SIL gave up the cigs - to soothe herself - she said she'd go back on them aged 60.
She was only in her early thirties and thought at 60 -she'd be almost dead anyway :H

She is 57 this year and still hail & harty and mad as a brush :H
