Happs my dept is responsible for Community Recovery, so I was sent up to Cairns to help after Cyclone Yasi (of course that was back in the day when we had a premier that actually gave a **** about people). Tawny I?m glad you?re trying to eat good stuff, even if the chooks benefit from most of it. And yeah, that egg-eating chook stuff is really weird. Best not to think too much about that, to be honest.

So this is a rather tenuous segue, but I was watching a doco about penguins yesterday, and a ?penguin expert? (who did indeed seem to know her stuff) said that penguins actually go on attacks to kill skua eggs, for no other purpose than revenge. Weird, hey? I?ve seen a skua take a penguin egg and it broke my heart, but I don?t think I could condone revenge killings! But it does show that animals are probably way further along the evolutionarily chain than we give them credit for.

Satz, I?m going to have to pop into the army one of these days to say Hi, if that wouldn?t be weird.

Just been delving into the wondrous world of phone apps
Technology just moves so damn fast these days. Bit of a head spinner.

Thinking about the poor folk in FNQ. Jeez Queensland has had a rough trot the last few years.

Time to attack the lawns today. Ridiculous amount of growth.

Hope Rags had a lovely dinner experience, and Mr G is only filum-ing appropriate scenarios with that new bit of video kit.

Done yer sun salutation which includes the fabled downward dawg pose i think, just to segaway into Happs' yoga morning class.

Glassy, i'll be having a stern word to my local penguin population later this evening after hearing that.
Will have to get you a go pro for your birthday so you can live stream your next interstate adventure. They come with all sorts of mounting accessories so to speak. A real little action cam. A friend of mine told me she carried hers around the world in a backpack for 3 years and still going strong. They also filum under water as you might know. Maaagnificent.

I did spy a couple for you though......Nike+ Runner or similar to GPS track your runs and analyse/share with friends etc. There is also a Melbourne Tram app if you use them, and I think it has traffic reports/hold ups in it. No that you have 'hold ups' in such an exemplary state as VIC

No hold ups here. Smooth and seamless governance in Vic. Well, until one opens eyes walking down any street. A sleazy filum of 'all's well' covers the state.

Sleep app? Imagine. You check in after 3 hrs and it tells you....'aha! you have slept 3 hrs'. Maybe it plays some noice music. I could send you some of my songs to unwind and fall asleep to. :H

Yep, running/walking apps are cool for measuring distance/times, pedometer style. e.g. Using you as a hyp...hypa....hyperthetical, if you undertook a daily brisk walking program, you could increase the mileage by a certain percent each week or fortnight, and keep tabs on progress. I suppose there's a calorie burning app too.
