I've been so busy I've had to pee standing up I tells yas.

Yesterday, I attended the funeral for one of my best mates Dad. They are Irish and by jingos what an experience. By the time I dragged myself away I felt quietly happy. Well, you know what I mean. It ended up being a real celebration of his life and so many people stayed around at the wake and told stories and had a few laughs (as well as tears) and drank and sang and drank and laughed and sang some more. My mate Tim's mother was so gorgeous. Tiny and bright and loving - so gorgeous. I was emotionally exhausted once I had time to reflect. Slept like a baby. I was going to say slept like the dead but it didn't seem appropriate like.....

During reflection late last evening, I was very thankful for certain things in my life, and how my life is right now. Firstly, fusking thankful I do NOT drink AL!! Secondly, so thankful for the lovely people in my life. I felt quite loved yesterday. Other things included being thankful that I have great children, now adults in their own right, and people I'm really proud of. Thankful that I made the decision to be the best person I can be by staying firmly committed to sobriety. Thankful, that as I went to sleep last night, I had truly supported people who needed me. Last but not least, thankful that my feet forgive me on a regular basis for torturing them in my fabulously splendiferous shoes!

Had planned a secret surprise for FFH's 50th in July. A week away at his favourite spot, but he announced last night he had booked HIS flight to NZ for his birthday and I could I take him to the airport on blah blah date and pick him up on blah blah. No worries!!! A week for moi - how bloody fantastically, fantibulous!!! Oh, and the critters too of course.

Nicey, I think I'd drop him off to the airport, put the house on the market, change the locks and fail to return.

Just as well you've got all the positive stuff above that bit. The good bit. I hope folk are laughing their bollocks off at my funeral.

Nicey, tend to agree with Bridge. Although you could create a splendiferous retreat of your own at whatever postcode you reside at and just build a huge wall around the residence. Yes. You've got the guard dogs, go for it girl!! and just think, you'd have so much more room for shoes without FFH's stuff there...you could even do a garage sale and get more funds for shoes....the list goes on...

You know what girls, I didn't even give a negative thought to FFH's plans. Didn't even flinch.

Something will happen, the Universe provides, and there will be an outcome! I'm cool with the wait...... I want to feel good about the outcome. I want a certain amount of innocence about how it all comes to be. Sometimes the most powerful thing to do is be silent and ride out the wave. I see exactly which shore it will break on - not so sure about the timing though. I'm cool magool about it ALL.

BUT selling stuff to get more shoes??!!! Why, oh why did I not think of that???

Life is about love, respect, integrity. So, just love, love, love and love wherever you go! Then fusking run........
