And also I've been doing some serious thinking. I'm not sure if I mentioned that I'm planning a short trip to Europe with my sister in late April/early May. So seeing as I'll have about 8 months leave accrued by March, I'm kind of thinking I might as well just take 3 months off and not come back to work in between the 2 trips. (which isn't as lazy as it sounds because I'll be desperately behind in my uni work by then).

Well that sounds like a PLAN! Well done, that woman.

I got my Passport back. The facial feature is barely discernible. Now to google travel destinations ...

Happs - I've seen that snail thing before. Bloody beautiful.

I'm packing bags in readiness for a trip to the Big Smoke tomorrow. I can't remember the last time I actually went to Melbourne proper. Concert at Hamer Hall. Fantastic venue. Cats will self-cater and chooks will have to remain locked up in their Chookhouse Penthouse.

Ooooh ? Melbourne proper, hey? Well done young Tawny, that sounds like a mighty fine expedition you have there!

Satzy I would love to come and visit you but my travel agenda is a little full at the moment. At the moment it?s South America (Peru and Ecuador) in July this year, Antarctica and Europe in 2015 and Borneo and Rio in 2016.

And no, my study isn?t work related, it?s just a doctorate I?m doing for ?fun? in my spare time. :H

Sorry - the reason for the laughing emoticon was because I'm pretty much going crazy here and I couldn't find one that depicted how I actually felt. Oh, OK - here's one! :hitme:

Froglette, I loved the snails too. And you were right the Bluesfest had such a great selection of artists to choose from it was hard to pick. Made easy by the organisation there though, it was really easy to get around and pop in and out of tents. Highly recommend it all. Next, Hugh Laurie and the Copper Bottom Band. Awesome. So, what's on at Hamer Hall?

Geez Glassy, that's a full travel agenda, how cool though.
