Morning lovelies. Look its all good. I've had my medical research team on it and if you're going to get a cancer it is the best one to get. Google ductal carcinoma and you'll see. I'd post the link from the breast cancer council if I could lay my hands on it. And the way I see it, everything is on my side. Early detection, healthy lifestyle, good attitude and good friends. You can't ask for much more. 'Nuff about me, I posted it yesterday not for pity but more for awareness. Let's look out for each other and stay on top of being the best we can be.

Tawny, hope your mum is ok this morning? Techie it is lovely to see you as usual. Undies, hugs all round. Mwah.

Sounds like a good idea Happs. I plan much the same - it helps that it is hosing down here!!. Mr B gave me the Phryne Fisher DVDs for my birthday and I think I shall indulge myself with them

Just back from a very nice ANZAC Day Service in the little town. Good to see so many people turn up.

Anzac Day - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Big day in Australia and NZ - everything closes up until 1pm. Was originally about veterans from WWI and WWII, but increasingly used to also remember vets from Korean War, Vietnam, the Middle East and Afghanistan. It also also a chance (in NZ at least) for celebrating the achievements of the Peace Movement and the role of conscientious objectors. It is about the only day in the year that we ave a serious national debate about our role in the world ad because its a serious debate the rednecks are nowhere to be seen.

Hi all,
Happs, I had a lump removed a couple years ago. It turned out to be nothing. It healed quickly, but it itches like crazy sometimes and also hurts when it is going to rain...hope your Mum is ok Tawny......one of the guys at the shop committed suicide Wed. It was very shocking, as he was a jolly good fellow and had just come out of hosp for hernia surg and colonoscopy 2 days prior..very strange and sad. They are having a little lunch in his honor at the shop today, I am not sure I will go since I don't do well at those type things and always end up in the gutter afterwards....well, I am late as usual...later..
