Wow Ragsy - that's some colourful food platters. Can't quite pick which are the sticky wings but. Lovely underwater shots.

Aspy - you sure as shit give it your all. You should be very proud of yourself.

Frog reportage - all 3 cubic m of sand are now in the hole. I have totally under-estimated reeeequirements. My spatial reasoning is obviously flawed. Isn't it nice to know you're not perfect? So humbling ...

Rags, those pics couldn't be clearer/sharper really. The gopro is tops. You'd know it prides itself as being an underwater cam, down to 60 mtr i think?

I got the go pro 3 black edition for $399 from jb hifi in melbourne. The 3 + is the latest, and a little over $500 as you say. The 'white' and 'silver' are the bunny versions i believe, so i've gorn the black. I need mine mainly for recording spoken word video interviews and uploading to the net, and the visual quality/resolution it's capable of is more than enough for my needs, and i have looked hard at the options. Best quality pic for the bucks that i can find. It has an output that i can hook up to better quality microphones/audio and auto sync pic and sound. The stills as we see above are also first rate, and better or as good as the pro SLR camera's. I don't have to lug around heavy gear to a location. The camera will fit in yer pocket. You can get a mount that'll strap to your head, or the ute as you're driving.

You tube has heaps of demo's, and boffins exploring the pro's and cons of both models.

Actually I'm just having a giggle now.

I'm going to walk into my Tuesday meeting with a bike helmet mounted with a camera and just sit there sans explanation. With the red 'record' light flashing....

It's a pro-active move in many ways:

-You'll have accurate minutes that can't be disputed.

- Tyler from east ward will be reminded of that incessant, annoying tick he has.

- Porscha from the Renal unit will soon realise she's constantly biting her nails and stop.

- Management will be forced to be accountable and make sense for a change.

- You'll be cheered on by your colleagues and voted most popular employee.

- management will insist you take the rest of the week off.
