        Hellooooo Undies....
I have been away. At a lovely little house on a hill, no screens for 4 days for anyone. We went canoeing, played soccer, went to markets, cooked & ate...was lovely.
Happs - did you go to Bluesfest? Awesome.
Tawny - how was the big smoke?
G - got your garden covered? Reminds me I still have a garden in a dinghy to plant.
Good to see Bird & Techie also:h
        Glassy - planning trips. V.nice.
Where's Missy? Did she pop back to Noo Zuland for Easter?
        What's Jonesy up to?
Formerly Angelcakes, new name, new attitude.

Morning all! late check in - lovely to see Birdy back, Fen, Techie and Cakes! how good does your break sound? just chilling out with your family is perfect non?

It's quiet, is everyone taking advantage of the holidays to get away or get out amongst it? if so, blood well done.

          Working, working...

            Hello everyone.

Glad to see adventures have been had, eggs enjoyed and love shared.

            Birdy!!!!!

            I made it through Easter.......phew!

Back at the command desk. Groaning, groaning, groaning. Had a horrible belly during the night but couldn't stay home. Tradies, FFH and MIL in da house so made an exit quick smart. New doors being installed as we speak at Niceyland. Exit to pergola area and backyard.

            All is well.

              Good evening folk!
Today was one of those idyllic Autumn days which make one glad to be alive. SO I took the opportunity to host a BBQ for 8 eclectic friends which turned out beautifully, after which we all dragged old doonas onto the deck and lay around like slugs soaking in the sun. Not that slugs do that

Good to see one and all enjoying the garden. I'd be lost without mine.

Hope those who did have to hop straight back to work rocked it.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

My 4.5 year old great niece got into trouble at day care last week when she pulled down the Easter Bunny's zip and was so horrified by the fact that there was a person inside the Easter Bunny that she burst out crying and announced the fact before all assembled kids and adults. :H:H I'm still pissing myself about it, but I think she has been ever so slightly traumatized :H:H

Glassy - great news about the little red boat!!! And should you take 3 months off???? Hell yeah!!!

                Hope Melbourne was fun Tawny.

Aspy …… a mechanical bulll????!!!! Jeepers your excitement for life knows no bounds

Happy - was thinking about going to Hugh Laurie too, but Mr B is working that night, and its a school night, and I don't much like going into the city. It's had great reviews though. But if KTAB passes through he might like to note that Sandy Toksvig is currently in NZ and a friends is (hopefully!!) getting us tickets to see her one-woman show as part of the Sydney Writers Festival!!

I worked quite a lot of Easter …… my fellow manager and I have had a few long hard talks to the boss over the last couple of weeks about our workplace's future. Last week we all agreed that we should call it quits and recommend a managed close-down. Basically the only way that we can be financially viable is if we all have enormous workloads and work 50 hours a week. So I've spent the last few days re-writing the business plan. Options range from immediate closure (end of June) through to a managed process which extends out to December 2015, with a view to ensuring that our skills/knowledge are used to build capability in the rest of the organisation between now and then. I'm quite optimistic that we can achieve the latter, and from what we know about the career intentions of our staff, it can be achieved relatively painlessly as some have indicated that they are already looking towards their next career move and others are moving away from Sydney for personal reasons. Anyway, the proposal goes up to the higher-ups tomorrow and I expect that we will have a decision within the next 2-3 weeks. It will be good to have an end to the uncertainty that we've had for the last year.

MWAH to all - you know who you are!!!

Meant to say Bridge - when I wasn't working and while you were overdosing on Desperate Housewives, I got through series 1 and 2 of Breaking Bad. I had watched the first 2 episodes a while back and found them quite violent, but started to enjoy it once I got into the story line.

But Mr B just bought me Series 1 and 2 of Phryne Fisher and I watched the first of those tonight ?.. and I can see them being a little addictive :H

                      going off to bed ??..

Aaron was abso-fusking-lutely wonderful. How can you be that good at 73? Vocally AND physically. Wonderful night.

I'm home now and have NO comestibles ... anywhere within reach. Too bad, so sad.

                        Thank you, Undies.
