Hey all,Liz they just opened "the highroller"at the Linq,its a great big ferris wheelexcuse me "observation wheel"each pod can hold up to 40 people looks kinda cool,the shark reef at Mandalay Bay is cool,theres lots of cool stuff,be warned though,its pretty damned tempting to drink around here,you'll see booze in peoples hands all times of the day,and if you gamble drinks are free,yikes! that's why i dont go out much anymore,hope everyone is o.k,i'm sure we all have K9 on our minds,have a good one peeps
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!Comment

Busy day today. SUnny outside...yea! Didn't drink last night...Yea! ..
You know the best thing about not drinking is waking up and thinking.. Yes! I made it! I must lay there for several minutes just cheering myslef into oblivion....I love that. Weird as that sounds.

We worked in the garage for 7 hours today...my back hurts and I am totally tired...and we are not finished yet..only 1 car will fit right now..so now I have to find more time to finish this...I did make a huge pile of give away things...if I haven't been in the box to look for years I don't think I really need it...so off it will go....
Train club thingy tomorrow so I need to relax and get some sleep....

Hey all - I'm going to post before I read back & catch up on you all. I know that so much has been going on with you all. Just know that I'm not ignoring it and will be back after I've read back. :l
I have been avoiding MWO except a few quick peeks during the day. Just not happy with where I am and haven't felt like I had anything to contribute here. So.....after a really good session with my counselor yesterdy, I have realized some things.......
I need you all!!! DUH?!?!?!
Anyway ? hubby is coming home on Tuesday and we are going to sit down & talk together?.then talk to his sister. He is in such poor health ? he is not able to care for his Dad. Bottom line. Things will be changing. His sister plans on him going back up there in 2 weeks? So, a family conference call is necessary and then some other options are going to be thrown out there. Bottom line is that my FIL can come live with us until an opening in an assisted living facility. Not a perfect solution ? BUT, that will help my hubby. Bigger area than the little ?cottage? to live in. A place for hubby to crash and know that I?ll be home from work to take care of things.

Hey all,Nora,i think that is a good solution,it may be difficult but i think it's for the best you and hubs need to be closer together,and its not forever as you said,ugh i for one feel sick! Louie has been throwing up and fever,they took him to the doc friday and she thought he had strep,but it proved negative but she put him on antibiotics just in case,now i think im getting it,really tired and i puked yesterday but no other symptoms thus far except fatgue,i hope im not getting sick,and i hope he gets better quick,poor baby,hope everyone has a good sunday
