Dottie, it's gloomy and chilly here, too. Sometimes, I think spring isn't truly going to arrive, much less summer.

Mama, I wish it was hot here! Of course, in a couple of months I'll probably be griping about the heat and humidity. :H

I am finally online...I have been struggling with it all morning! Damn...don't these people know I need my MWO peeps first thing in the morning??? Otherwise I get all bitchy. Oh wait, I get bitchy anyway. LOL

I had a lot to say, but now I've forgotten.

I'm sure it will come to me as soon as I log off.

I will be back after lunch. I am going home to clean out all processed foods from my pantry. I watched another documentary last night. LOL

busy, crazy, running around all day....had words with Bri....I told her she seemed very unconcerned about this big visit....told me I was a spaz....I told her our priorities are different and I was done discussing it.....went back outside.....

she told you that you were a "spaz"??? OMG, who does this girl think she is?? I'm not sure I could be as patient as you are being Mama!!!

Sierra was helping me get rid of all the processed foods in our food pantry (which was about 98% of the stuff in there!). There just so happens to be a food drive next Monday, so perfect timing! Now we shall see how long this lasts!

Are you feeling better today Dottie? Hopefully the hubby doesn't get it too bad!

An update on my mom. She went to the doctor yesterday and they are scheduling an MRI to see if the cancer has spread. The next step will be surgery to remove the lump, and then 12 weeks of chemo. The doctor somehow talked them into it, she said she wouldn't want to do that...

Not feeling better and dh is asleep. He can seem to sleep for hours and hours and get over the crud. I just cant do that.
If I had told my manager she was a spaz she would have had a fit....and it probably would have ended up in my personnel file too...
K9 hope you mother gets all the facts on treatment. It is a hard decision and very confusing.

I thought they were checking her lymphnodes???? I am sorry for being so selfish.
and yes, she called me a spaz and then it was downhill from there...
I told her I was done with all of it and obviously our priorities were different and we were at different maturity levels and at different places in our lives.....and I have choice but to be patient and document everything and see what happens from there

No worries Mama! Nothing had happened before yesterdays Doctor appointment, so there was nothing new to share anyway! The MRI (that is not scheduled yet) will somehow determine if the cancer has spread to lymphodes (a dye test, I think?). That should (maybe) be sometime next week.

Dottie - I think a man could sleep through a tornado. They skip one meal and lose 10 pounds, and they can fall asleep anywhere. More unfairness!!

Mama...are you still having trouble sleeping? All I take is Melatonin...about 16mgs...which is quite a bit, but you do build up a tolerance. The GABA and passion flower supplements I got the other day are working great for taking the edge off too.

My hair is bright red! And way shorter. Holy shit on a shingle. My hair guy is gay and very edgy... loads of tats and piercings and wears funky clothes... and his partner works with him. They "collaborated" today and I'm not quite sure what to think. I guess I'll wait to see the look on other people's faces and judge it by that.

Mama... I agree with the others... I think PG&S is trying to manipulate the system. Even she's not daft enough to call you a Spaz if she wants to keep her job. I bet you were mega-pissed.
