Morning!
I thought you'd be better today Datts... dratts! (
Good luck with the co-worker Pauly. Cheek of her getting in your face like that. Isn't there a manager there? And what did they think of that crapola?
Doing a few things round the house then going to a friends then to the festival. I might stay over at their house tonight if we're late back... I'm leaving my car there and going to the festival in theirs. They live about half an hour away from me.
Lovely day here, good for an outdoorsy thing.
Hope everyone is having a good Saturday. Get some rest this weekend Mama... that was a tough week you had.

What the hell? *echo echo echo*
Where the frick is everyone? I swear, this whole "getting a life" thing ain't gonna fly! :l
I had a good time at the festival... it was a bit busier than I expected and the whole peeing deal was a nightmare. I'm resourceful though! The bands were excellent... there was one with a female electric violin player... awesome.
We ended up staying over at my mates' house and talking till the wee small hours. I drove us home before they got up as I didn't want to bother them (they were going to make breakfast). And now I'm dead tired and want a nap!

Morning, morning!!
Zen - sounds like fun.
Dottie - hope you're feeling so much better.
I was busy yesterday and just didn't feel up to par so I had a very early night. Better this morning though.
I leave on Friday for my Mom's. I can't wait to see her. My brother texted me a pic yesterday.
He goes out in the evenings to the casino or bar or something. Mom was fixing herself a bowl of soup. She had the ladle in the pan and forgot about it. Burned up the entire ladle. My brother got home and pulled in the garage and started smelling smoke. Mom didn't remember that she had already opened all the doors to let the smoke smell out, etc. So, he was scared and that made him sound angry. So, Mom got upset. It was a big mess. :upset::upset:"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

Back from the cabin. Geez, you guys were busy this weekend!
Nora, that sucks about your mom and the ladle. Towards the end, we couldn't leave my dad alone in the house for that exact reason.
Congrats to Clay! :H I've never actually mooned anybody, that's how square I am.
I'm pretty lucky where grey hair is concerned. I have a few silver threads on my head, but not many. My mom is 85 and has little grey...my dad hardly had any when he passed away at 82.
Dottie, glad you and dh are on the mend.
I didn't get any hiking in yesterday...I had to put up proper fences around pappy's memorial apple trees at the cabin, as the deer were beginning to breach my home-made groovy rustic branch fences. It was a lot of work!

Out of all the tender young saplings the deer could wrap their lips around, why do they go for apple trees?
Of course, I got a tick embedded in me. Had Mrs. Fen remove it with our "tick twister" tool. Geez, those little varmints leave a nasty welt!

Oh Fen - OUCH!! Do you have to inspect yourself every time you come in or do you feel it when they attack you?
I hope you got your apple tree all protected."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett
