One Step at a Time - April 2014

    Morning!

I spent 2 1/2 hours at the dentist yesterday afternoon on nitrous oxide... that stuff is great... has anyone ever had it? I was so relaxed I didn't give a damn about what was going on. I'm going to ask for it from now on. Then I came home, took a pain pill, and totally crashed out... best night's sleep evah! My gob's a little bit sore today but I'm REALLY pleased with what he's done so far.

Going to make some eggs and then have a read-back...

I have never had nitrous oxide...I wonder if my dentist has it? Usually, I get by okay on regular novocaine, though. Glad you're back!:h

Pauly, that's sad about Petey...but glad that he's with peeps who do stuff with him. There are so many dog owners in my neighborhood who never walk their dogs or exercise them. They bark endlessly out of the windows or from their tiny back yards all day long.

Dottie, I'm glad the skunk smell is dissipating.

Guess I'd better get up on that danged tread mill.

          Good morning, everyone. :l

A hard day again yesterday I'm afraid ....and I drank...:upset:
The really upsetting part about it through is despite not drinking alot (compared to the me before) I felt it leveling me out...I truly could feel that and I thought, ' Shit...that's not good because this is definitely NOT the tool I want to use in staying even in my head...' Had 2 drinks, did some work on the computer, went to bed...this morning I'm tired but level...damn....
          I'm calling Dr. G today...promise, Zenny:l

The girls are fighting over underwear so I have to run...bbiab:h

Kradle :l Sorry you had a hard day. At least you are conscious of the alcohol affecting you and how you don't want that to be your "relaxer". Back in my day I'd think nothing of polishing off a 12 pack and wanting more, without even giving it a second thought. The fact that it's on your radar shows you are making progress!

Fenny - I cracked up at you shaving your Lady's mustache and chin! Gotta get all spruced up for Easter eh? LOL I shouldn't laugh, I'm noticing hairs where they've never grown before too. HAHAHA

Last night was exciting with the critters. Forrest does not really like the big dog, but he's gonna have to adjust for the next 4 days. They don't fight or anything but I can tell there's some tension. The rest of them couldn't care less. LOL

Well I had a piece of cake for breakfast. Now I'm gonna go look for some cookies or something. All that weight I lost is coming back with a vengeance! Ugh. I think it's cuz I am so UNHAPPY at my job, I just sit here and eat junk all day. I'm sure when I start my new one I will be too busy to focus on what I can shove in my mouth all day. LOL
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Believe in yourself. You are stronger than you think.

Kradle... be sure to call the Doc today hon. :l To be honest, I was just about to nag you about it and then I saw your post. I'm sorry you caved my dear but the upside is you kept it to a minimum.

Dottie... that was a hell of an experience you had there... someone is watching over your girl... I'm very glad you're still with us and the skunk loves you too! :H

Mama... it must feel good to not be relying on the fam for rides everywhere. Does Bri really have a camel toe?! Bwahahaaaaa!

FUPA... that's a new one on me Niner... now I'll have to start worrying about that! Is it better than a camel toe?!

Aww Fenny... your new client sounds just perfect for you. And, bloody hell, can you come and do all that for me? You don't need to shave my face though! Re the nitrous oxide... they give you Novocaine too... the nitrous is on top of that just to relax you. You snap out of it when they take the mask off and you're OK to drive. I have to get on the dreadmill later myself... I feel your pain!

Pauly... have you heard of a "nettie pot"? You might want to try irrigating for your allergies. Mine were so bad once I went to an Allergy Doc... a few years back... and he started me irrigating... I did that and took a Claritin every morning and it fixed the problem.

                              good to know, 143
I don't like driving so much, but I like the freedom.
Driving is a privilege we take for granted.
Hubs and I had a long talk about everything and this whole mess has made us closer and he knows I would have done the same thing for him has the roles been reversed.
I am lucky to have him

So Bri gets to lay around for 4 days because of oral "surgery"....me thinks me smells a rat! She is so LUCKY that she gets to keep her job...and you seriously have to cancel your Easter plans? She doesn't even feel bad about that? I am kickin' her ass, preggo or not!

Hi -143!! Yes, I love my boyfriend! He is 140 pounds of snuggles (and drool).

                                Hi Nora!!! We've missed you!

I need someone to run on the dreadmill for me too. I guess I could at least go to the gym and sit in the sauna...

"Turkey Butt Lips" :H Yes, I know that "look"....it also looks like a cat's bung hole. LOL But I shouldn't laugh too hard, that's where I am headed too!
