Sausage pie. Just sausage meat mixed with sage, onions, eggs and sausage meat in puff pastry.

I'm doing the same.............cannot get my bottom off the chair.

Right..............I'm doing it...........right that's one cheek..............now let's do the other............there you go ..........I've got legs..........orff to the kit hen I go.

You doing a new colour JC, or just touching up the old grey bits? Must get a box too - and soon; I look like my age at the roots! Both parents went grey early in life, so I got a double dose of the greying gene.

Good afternoon folksies :wavin:

Busy morn had here. Had to leave car with mechanic for service/MOT check first thing- hoping he gets it done today. Dad picked me up from there and we went walking - along a river in a lovely forest park- it's like somewhere time has forgot. Home now, had lunch and may put head down for a nap!

Dreamy- sorry to hear of the blues nipping at yer heels:l:l Dunno what advice to give but know we are here if ye want to vent or unload:l

I'll have you know that an ingrown toe nail is a most serious condition!!! Thought I was gonna die this weekend past from either sepsis or pain!!!

Cooking for Dad and myself tonight so I opted for a shop-bought (but homemade there) chicken and ham pie, carrot n parsnip, cabbage and spuds. No pudding tho(

Good Day Army People!!!

I know I'm not from anywhere near England or Ireland when all I could think of when pie was mentioned was, "apple or blackberry"!

I missed you all-- had a couple of REALLY down days with a bit of a fever, a sick co-worker so I had to do extra, needy kids, BF's birthday (today)-- Dreamy, I hope it's ok that we stick to threads we are comfy with-- or even reading, but not posting sooo much when we are a bit down..? Sorry to hear of your down days.:l

I was also wondering how you are, roxy?:h
and JC, I know when my grandma died we did a lot of reminiscing and it was good for all of us-- sad, and happy and it brought us closer together. I hope you are well.:l
Molly, are you back from your trip or posting from Portugal? Somehow I thought you were away longer-..? Was it a great trip? do you feel rejuvenated??

Sounds like ye have been a tad over-stretched there Elsie- hope ye can fit-in some 'you' time.

Molls- agree totally with ye re. prevention of future toe-nail probs- will be going to an expert from now on!! Do ye know I haven't been able to stop thinking about yer friend over in Portugal since ye mentioned her first? Not a wonder ye are feeling stressed over it:l

Well!!! So much for a lie-down- just after me last post got called outside by Da! Holy feck, it started with him up a ladder clearing the spouting and ended with me soaked from head to toe- cleaning all the outside windows and fascia etc... Hafta say the jobs a good 'un House looks great now from the outside. Ignoring the inside tho- it would drive ye to distraction!! Need a few hundred skips to sort it out!!

Txt from mechanic- cars ready so happy days there- mustn't have needed too much work (she hopes) :yay:

Gotta shower n change now afore collecting it.

Love you girls!! and all the talk about roots! DAMN! I can never decide what to do. I had decided to let the grey grow out 'cause I was SICK of men looking great with grey and women deciding to hide it-- then after a long few months, and me looking much older than I felt, thought I'd colour again-- then went out to brekkie with a friend a week ago who said, your hair looks so good!! and I asked, what with all the grey?? and she said, first of all it doesn't look soooo grey and second of all it's nice to see you in all your "beauty". So then I cancelled my appt. My prob. is I feel sometimes it looks silly for me, with my wrinkles and all, to try and pull off no grey. But how to be a bit in between??? AND I look crap with red tones of any type, which most of the colours seem to have.

The bloody face is bad enough.

Tall willowy women - e.g. MOLLS - can get away with it - but little short arses like me can't - I'd be the typical small Granny Gray

The roots are gone but my hair colour doesn't resemble the colour on the box by any means.........its a more dirty blond than light blond..............never mind it could have been green.

I am indeed..............trying to keep the excitement under control but this time tomorrow I'll be fleeing about the house having a good auld panic...............
