    Army thread Sunday 6 April

    Hey Pinky & Damo

    Thanks for popping in :wavin:
Yes Damo it really works wonders for the soul to see drunks - and I'm evil I know - but don't care.
Next time we'll have the meet-up at 7 am in Dublin :egad: NOT !!
You run in the park I presume ?
LOVE the Park on Sunday..... I was brought up not too far from there and live 20 mins now from it.

Am so envious when I hear names like, "Clondalkin"-- sounds so mystical and otherwordly-- is that a suburb of Dublin? I have always wanted to visit there-- will someday! After I learn to play the fiddle so that I can partake in the street music! All you from Ireland, do you like the Waterboys? or are they posers??

So I am on the other side of the world making a DDR peach "cheesecake" and you are invited for coffee and cake. Say 4pm? xx

My Sunday routine is, a drive to Kevin St. to meet a good friend, run through town , head into the Phoenix Park (so nice on a Sunday morning) and then back to Kevin St, pop into my Mams, who lives close by, who sometimes has a fry up waiting for me, mmm, and ghen back home to Clondalkin.....(I grew up in Clanbrassil St), how about you ?
Next year, we are on for a nice Sunday morning jog in the park :-))
            Bye for now
            Still trying !!!

I m on the way LC, yeah Clondalkin is just outside the city, some parts are nice, but some not so. Like Mike Scott and the Waterboys. If you like them , check out some great Irish musicians like Damien Dempsey, Paddy Casey, Mundy , the amazing voice of Declan O Rourke (google declan o rourke gallileo, quite amazing) and Sharon Shannon to name a few.
              So where are ye ?
              Still trying !!!

:waving: Pinks - lovely to see you again! How are the studies coming on? Pop in more often - it's so nice to see your funny pink face.

Damo, the sober life seems to be treating you well - lovely the way you mix exercise, friendship and family.

Elsie, will be there at 4, and then you can explain what a DDR cheesecake is. Surely nothing to do with the old East Germany? I bought a bag of Dutch chocolate flavoured coffee the other day - shall I bring it along so that we can give it a try-out? And what are you doing on the other side of the world - has Berlin relocated itself?

Have been hard at work thinking of urgent things that should be done - but not today, if I can help it. Nana nap looming large in my life at the moment :H:H:H

Berlin has seemed to have relocated itself! At least I feel very far away...
It is an old former East German recipe-- yummy and not as sweet and heavy as an american cheesecake. Do bring the chocolatey coffee! sounds great.

Will check out the Irish music-- thanks for the tips..

nana nap sounds divine-- still have 2 hours before you all arrive!!

hiya dreamy, the studies are taking up a lot of time and work is busy, lots of changes but for the better. I have just had one of my reports published alongside a doctor, so good news , working on the second publication as we speak
I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.
