Seriously depressed
Except for the thrips (which are.....?), I can totally sympathize...our cabin in Vermont has been infested with tent caterpillars that have literally covered everything...and consumed the leaves on our maples, oaks, lilacs--almost everything except the fir trees.... It's almost impossible to describe the biblical proportions of this horror...thousands and thousands of caterpillars covering the sides of the cabin, crawling onto the tires of the car, massing on the trunks of the trees.....apparently the worst infestation on over 50 years! The beautiful Green Mountains are defoliated in huge patches and the whole maple syrup industry in Vermont is in jeopardy... Can't walk in the woods, do any planting or even sit outside....just horrendous.... I'm hoping they will have transformed into whatever they transform into when we get up there later on today...
Last year, aphids consumed my sunflowers and the lilacs...apparently some brilliant person imported a species of Asian ladybugs to eat the aphids...except they didn't and since these ladybugs have no natural predators here they have become yet another problem....
Don't think we've had lacebugs, but now the flies are taking over...so much for the beauty of nature....
best, susan

Re: oh no
Check out gardensalive.com - while it is a US store, the information on what works with different pests is helpful and perhaps you can get stuff with the same components in your part of the world. I have had a lot of success with their products and they are environmentally friendly.

Re: x-pests
Gabby, I don't know of a site that actually eliminates an ex - (if there was I am sure it would do a good business, but here is one that laughs at them.
