I've had regular squishing since my early forties.

My mother had Breast cancer twice ...... in her 40s & 50s ...... both boobs removed.... was the norm back then.

She is 84 hail & hearty still...
I liken her to a tree. You can cut of a branch or two but it will come back even stronger afterwards....

Remember it's not just about the mammogram. Its about regular checking of your own breasts. Do it yourself or have someone you love check. Whatever floats your boat

Just received the results from my mammogram. All clear.

BUT...I'm due for my bowel cancer screen and I've been putting that off because it's unpleasant. Stupid, I know, because the alternative could be so much worse.

I did a bowel cancer test about 2 months ago. I guess if you are a mother, or walk your dog in the park and pick up it's droppings, you're used to handling poo. :H
It was quite simple, just take swabs from your poo, pop them in the container then take to the pathology drop off point. Better than having strange instruments stuck up your orifice.
