I've had promises of oxtail, Molly, if that's any help.

Just checked Google, Rox - it did it's own spell check thingy and decided the Oirish was in fact Chinese spelled wrong - plain stooooooopid.
14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

On words and neologisms and things: a sock is kous in Afrikaans; the Setswana for sock - sekausu - comes form the Afrikaans and is pronounced the same; sekausu is also a condom - and it makes perfect sense - so all over Botswana there are these huge billboards urging people to wear socks in bed.

                          Army thread Monday 21 April

Morning everyone, sorry couldn't check in much yesterday. It was non-stop.

                          Gym
                          Church
Up to castle to meet Mum, up and down the very steep hill pasche egging.
Walked to the nearby sports club were there were some scary goings on.

Fairground outside, parents and other adults inside drinking(this was 3pm by the way so very wierd to me to walk from daylight stuff into that). Bar and social room was packed. Hardly a free seat and some people standing. Not my scene and for 30 seconds entertained myself with wondering what I'd be like in there if I was drinking/tried to join in. The resulting image wasn't a very nice one especially when I spotted a DJ setting up his stuff next to the raffle. Used loos and beat a hasty retreat.

Lovely tea made for us by Mr YKB. Roast lamb from award winning butchery, roast peppers, mushrooms, sweet potato. Mr YKB was flagging a bit by this time. Finished with piece of shop bought Simnel cake which we decided wasn't the same as homemade. Thick decaff coffee. Put the world to rights a bit.

Fell asleep to a prog on iplayer about a hospital for wee ones and the making of the Messiah. Watched a previous episode of Crimson Fields to get Mr Y up-to-speed. I was brought up to pick apart and ask questions about historical dramas. Wondered why the men were marching off to the front without any kit on?Perhaps the kit went ahead. Who knows.

                          Off out to gym soon.
I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

Drank within safe limits for almost 2 years

                                It was very good ta.

Had a flick through here later but wasn't fair on the people spending time with me. I don't see my Mum and Mr Y very often, due to my studies and other commitments/voluntary/placement/sports stuff.

Glad to see the Army marching on and the familiar as well as new faces on here (DTD).:goodjob:
