i'd never seen him before until last year in australia very late at night (jetlag). he does a long monologue which takes up half the show, then has a guest on.
when i first saw the programme i thought he was hijacking the limelight. then i saw it a few more times and appreciated what he was doing. talking about serious matters under the guise of humour.

though sometimes it was just humour.

right, dog out. poor mutt hasnt seen outside the front door for two days..........

Got up, had breakfast, went for a long run, came home, had a big lunch after a shower and now about to watch the Hillsborough tribute footie on the TV.
I fancy eating the lamb again a la Molls recipe yesterday.

Suns out here today aswell, though not shorts weather.

Went to sit outside and new neighbour turned on a pressure washer right the other side of the fence.

Last time it was sunny was the same thing. Went on for hours. FFS.

Back in the house now watching a delayed super bikes race from brands hatch.

Due to rain tomorrow, wanted to get the sun while I could. Bah humbug.
