Thanks everyone! I just got home (it's 9:30pm)...not sure if I will continue colouring. I'm pretty beat...but still sober! Today is 14 days. So I am happy about that. Back in the day I could NEVER imagine going 14 days...actually I could never imagine going a few days...
ActionGirl - you should totally give colouring a try! It's actually - dare I say it - a bit addicting! Obviously in a good way..
I can't remember if I said this already or not...but I really do find it therapeutic...I have to focus on the colouring - especially such tiny lines, so time will get away from me...and I think it's a good idea for anyone early in sobriety or having a tough time...it's almost like meditation...just put on some good music, get into bed or a big comfy chair and just colour the night away...
Good for you as well AG for getting your 10,000 steps! I missed the gym today. But going to kick some bootay tomorrow!

Quick post from work as I will be working late and then CJ and I are going shopping. All those summer sales you know. Hope everyone is keeping strong.
Bri, I agree it is very therapeutic . It was actually on the news not to long ago, that coloring relieves stress.
Off to take a walk befor my break is over. Happy hump day!

Thank you AG!
Lizanne, I found an anatomy & physiology book on Amazon. I am eager to get my hands on it. Also going to order some pencil crayons..hehehe...I hear that it helps a lot of people remember what it is they are colouring in.
Right now I am just finishing up a school assignment that has been the bane of my existence for the past 2 months. Every time I woke up with a hangover at 2am I would have a panic attack...because I knew I was screwing myself over with school. Now I gotta finish it. No ifs, ands or butts about it. Although it's painful getting through it....
I am terrified of failure...
Funny way of going about it, eh?
Sigh...
I am going to finish at least one of these damn things and then get back to my colouring!! Lol. I'll keep you all posted....

Nora! I found PrismaColours on Amazon for super cheap! You should check them out! I am pretty sure it's the 60-pack.
I just read that those are pretty high end pencil crayons. Lol.
I am looking for Staedtler fine tip pen/markers. U.S. has them for $40 or so, in Canada I can't find them anywhere. grrrr
Like all the markers and pencil crayons are sold out or out of stock where I live. What gives?!?

Bri, it's "back to school" shopping time lolQuitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

Good for you OH! Glad to hear you're doing well...AF is definitely the way to go...but I do understand when that voice tries to creep in.
Fall...is definitely tricky for me...because I was a big cider lover...and Fall here, there are limited edition ciders...I remember good times in the Fall...
But that doesn't mean that I can't make better times, more memorable times...alcohol free.
Hahah, good point Cowboy! Oops!
