    Roll up, roll up.............the last SHOUT OUT of April.

    Every single one of us here started with a day one.....which became a day two, then a week, a month and then to infinity and beyond.

    So don't be shy and give it a try................go on SHOUT it LOUD and SHOUT it PROUD.

    I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

    Drank within safe limits for almost 2 years

            Hey Mick - I remember we had our first sober day within a day of each other in July 2012.
            I was ahead of you by 2 days I think.
            I have a few on & offs : weddings , holidays etc mainly because I didn't see a reason not to drink - so you've overtaken me
            Now I struggle to see a reason TO drink alcohol.

            I'm content with how I'm doing (did) it !

              89 days, 3 months tomorrow , really happy with myself.
              I am very grateful for this site and all of you.
              I have worked my arse off this time and I feel confident in staying sober.

              The last two weeks I have quite a few temptations and cravings but "thought them through" , (thanks G Man, I remember your advice).

                          satzy yep youre right..you were ahead of me then by 2 days....but actually nowadays time doesnt actually really matter..what does matter is the fact that not only have we sacked the booze..but given the choice ..there isnt one!!
