      Underoo's Magical May

And to-day's I have two perplexing questions

Is Amy Farrah Fowler related to Tom Lehrer?

Does she make more money from acting than being a neuro scientist
And did you know she is vegan.

What I did on the weekend by Raggsy.
          Chapter One

The trip up to Nambucca Heads was a lovely drive. The scenery when you hit the Macleay and Clarence valleys is so breathtakingly beautiful. I could quite happily live there... as long as I was by the river or where there were views.
Stayed at the same rundown motel as last time as I knew it has microwave in the room and I had packed some of Mr. Rags' left over stew for dinner.

I'd lurve to own the property... It is on the Nambucca River, so I couldhave my own oyster trays and invite all the Undies up for a weekend.
You could sit outside your very own room on one of these theme seats,

munching oysters and prawns while you watch the sun set, or rise between the palms which I would replace with callistemons or melaleucas.

Why do people try to make their places look so artificially hawaiin when we have such phenomenally beautiful trees and shrubs that are tropical?
Drove through very heavy rain from about Ballina northwards, arrived Qld Friday and organised the new car which Panda loves as it has lots of buttons and levers.

I was surprised she has a PhD in neuroscience and decided to be an actress instead. We need every female scientist we can get into this male dominated field.

What I did at the weekend
              Chapter Two.

Had an interesting dinner at The Jetty... Nasi Goring with a satay drumstick on the side.

Met up with Aspy and Mrs Aspy after dinner on Friday at Brenners. Aspy and I ordered mexican chocolate which was pretty ordinary, but I couldn't come to terms with the bedpan shape mugs.
How good is this dessert but. Even Aspy couldn't finish it.

If you want THE best hot and spicy chocolate, go to San Churro at 175 Lygon Street, next to the brilliant pizza place (Cafe Cavallino ).
Aspy happened to mention geocaching to me which I knew nothing about, but Aspy knows I love navigational stuff, and next thing he'd shown me how to sign up on my phone. He may have opened a pandora's box.
There are a few sites near me so tomorrow I may see if I can find one or two of them.
              Wonder if Techie does it.
              Techie, do you geocache?

Missy, I won't forget the bread tin.
                Where's the recipe?
I can't seem to find it.

What I did at the weekend
                  Chapter Three

Saturday I was with my friend while she did girly guidey stuff,

then off to meet Glassy, via the car place as they'd forgotten to give me all the paperwork for the car..

Glassy reckons it could be fun if we Qld Undies had dinner
at the Friday markets which are on the north side of the river somewhere.
I'm in, but it will be a while before I get up there again.

On the way back I stopped at Urunga ( another spot I could live if it was on the river)
                  for a rather weird lunch.

It was advertised as moroccan lamb, but it must have led a hard life.
On the side it had stewed dried apricots and raisins (OK, I can handle that),
with yoghurt and cucumber raita on the other side (WTF), with the lamb atop
a huge serving of inedible mush/mash of pumpkin, lentils and chick peas.
Sitting atop all this was a sprig of rosemary.
On another side were a bit of lettuce and spinach leaves "Eclectic" is the nicest thing I can say about it.

                  Nice setting but.
That boaty thing is a rather overpriced MacGregor. Reggie and I regard them with scorn. Also, I think the Urunga by pass is going to be built somewhere in that direction too.

Just wanted to get home so decided to drive straight home and not stay overnight on the way.
I was a bit of a hoon: the car didn't have any plates, so I sped through all the speed cameras, and went on the tollway where they have no idea who to fine for not paying. Tee hee hee

Get a new prescription filled to-day which should help with the pain. I hope it does.

the whole thing was a gluggy conglomerate of unmatched tastes.
the nasi goring was good but.

So Rags, correct me if I'm wrong here...but did you just drive a car from QLD to Kiama with no number plates?!!! Wow, that's so naughty...love it.
                        I'm so square sometimes...

Yes I did, but I had a "Permit to drive unregistered vehicle" issued by Qld Govt. valid for 2 days.
So, I could've fanged round the streets of Wollongong all day to-day with no plates.
Going to RTA tomorrow to transfer rego from the car I traded to the new(ish) i30
(I wouldn't have laughed if it had been truly unregistered and uninsured and I'd had a prang).

Yes, but you didn't have a permit for speeding and toll evasion!!! :H:H:H

You are a naughty little Raggsy, but I forgives ya!
