Morning all! Techie!! Good to see you popping in. Aspy that puppy is gorgeous.

In bed, or rather back in bed after the morning routine. It's a lazy day I think.

Tf, Bridge, Gster, Techie, Missy, Nicey, Glassy (nice to meet you), and everyone else, I hope May is good to you all.
Lovely to meet you too Sunny - and congratulations on your new little one.

Aspy and Happs - I hope things are looking up for you both today. I second the greyhound idea. A friend of mine is quite involved in the adoption program and from everything she says they make perfect pets, and are desperately in need of homes.

Cori - when I did wildlife rescue I often used to get tiny little bald baby birds. They always made my heart melt.

Asp, she sleeps well with a few feeds at night but can go hours during the day when she's unsettled. As far as a dog I agree with the adopt a dog sentiment. We have a cattle cross ridge back, and an Italian grey hound which is the small version of them. We rescued both. Once you pick a breed, there is usually a rescue service for that breed, and they can contact you when they get one. Our little greyhound was rescued from a place in Sydney, and we paid for it to be transported to the gold coast. Poor little guy was neglected and abused by the prior owners. Now he's spoiled.

Techie, i LOVE crab cakes, and am jealous of all your fabulous hiking trips.

                Have a good Friday everyone.

                  Happy lunchtime kiddies,

How lovely to see Sunni in the drawer. Can't wait for pics.

Happs - how goes the war?

Lots of rain and a leaking roof. Hmmmm. What to do?

Stick a bucket under it (the leak) and listen to the rain...if its that simple that is? although it never really is...

                    I'm good Froglette.

Had an awesome morning/lunch with a good friend who is easy to talk to or be silent with...she brought lunch, made chai and has given the Lamp a recipe for majoon...

Now, I'm going to recline further into the lounge and could even snore...its a gift...

Sometimes I think it is that simple, Happs. Listening to the rain (or a leak in a bucket) is a blessing...
This journey is a gift. Love you.

Hello undies!! I've been in Broome this week ??.. the NBN obviously hasn't touched things here, have lousy cell phone coverage, and wi-fi rates are extortionate. Tawny - thanks for your PM but it has just been busy and difficult to get connections.

                              I love Broome though !!!

Mr G - I went tonight to the Astro tour that you posted when I mentioned that I was going to Broome ?? it was astonishingly good!! I saw the surface of the moon, and the rings around Saturn, and observed the earth turning on its axis. If anyone is in the vicinity of Broome I highly recommend it!!

I've just bought an hour of wi-fi, so I'll read back and see what has been happening ??..

I'm about to run out of my hour of wi-fi, but virtual thoughts to Happs - when does the chemo start???? And how long will it go on for??

Before I came away to Broome I was practicing "I am Woman" on the uke :H Not quite sure that the sentiment and the musical vehicle work perfectly together, but I shall perfect it it and sing it every time with you in mind :-)

Corrie - :l You'll get there! Every one of your posts sounds stronger than the last. Talking about how hard it is is better than trying to pretend that all is fine.

Sunny - soooooo nnice to hear from you!! looking forward to pictures of your babies :h

Instead of the crockpot challenge, I think we should have a "Where's Reggie?" one:H:H
