We had the kid?s joint birthday party on the weekend. We had the soccer crowd they play soccer with come out and hold a session with all the kids, it was a huge success. Also my mates wife has started a pace painting business so we got her out, all the kids looked great, there were many marvel comics super heroes running around playing soccer. 
We had a little drama with the space we booked in the state forest for the party. Seems we did it wrong and failed to secure the spot we wanted, after 45min of setting up an older lady arrived and hesitantly approached with her printed email in hand saying we were in her spot, it all worked out ok, we moved to a smaller but still serviceable area, my wife kept me calm. Once we had the bbq re lighted in the new area. We were under way, then the ranger comes up (a small man if ever you saw one ) and told me he heard about the mix up, and we may well be in the wrong area again, another party may have booked the space we were in again and we would have to move a second time if this occurred.
I lost it?we had 40 odd people there by this time.
I informed the little fellow that the I was gonging to put the next person who told me to move my children birthday party along, in the hospital, post haste, then he came back with a smart ass comment about calling the police? he was fusking lucky to make it out alive I tells ya? some cooler heads prevailed and took over negotiations and I went off for a little cry amongst the spotted gum trees. Wish I could apologize to him but he seemed the kind of bloke to hold a grudge so I may just avoid him if I can.

we had our induction meeting at brave hearts yesterday, very nice caring tolerant patient people who never once looked at a watch or clock or nothing...good job too cause we spewed venom vitriol and grief at the poor girl for two hours, it was only supposed to be a get your info and book further meetings type of thing. hah. We feel a bit better after the meeting.
Oh the forms... we each need to apply for funding on our own form, seems we are possibly able to get some of the expense back from our upcoming move due to the nature of the crime. Not what we were looking for but let?s face it, it all helps if money is less tight. Also we found out as an unemployed single father the boy?s day gets everything he needs free, including transport to and from appointments we hear anecdotally... FFS. What ya gonna do? (soprano's voice).

Pretty good mood in the asp house ATM, thanks for the suppot and the inboxs. Means the world to us.

Howdy Pardners!

At the desk of total command. I've surrendered, and it feels awesome. Just cruising, have iTunes playing in the background. Rearranging my work pile/s. Window open and enjoying the sound of delivery trucks and the blokey blokes off-loading contents. Nice language boys! As Tony S would say "wadya gonna do?"

The reason for my new perspective came late yesterday. I replied to an email thread where one of my colleagues (top notch operator) admitted she was also drowning and felt terrible about going to miss a deadline we are all struggling with. I also 'confessed' I was no longer waving because I'd sunk so low no one would see my arms even if I bothered waving. Later she sent my a private email offering support and help (if she could). It just made me realise I'm not the only one who feels like they aren't achieving. I felt validated - or something. Like being here with all of you. I know I've got people behind me who do know what I'm dealing with. So, to all those who help another's cause, I send thanks and love and more love and light.

I'm taking Thursday off. Grandparent's day at my little man's school. Hate, hate, hate stuff like this but I think this one is an important one for him. Times are a bit skew wiff in his little world right now.

Oscar slept on my bed this morning. Not much room left for moi! Love, love, love that bewdiful dog. Lady Dharma has her own quarters.

Rags - I hope you get some relief from your pain today. Nothing worse than being in constant pain.
