    Underoo's Magical May

    Arvo Undies,

Very late check-in from me. Had shit's own trouble with the mighty mower ... the fusking vented mandrel rears it's ugly head again. Am seriously thinking of upgrading to a zero-turn number but that would put a stop to the possible Balinese pamper escape. What to do, oh what to do???

    So ...

Bridge - how did you go on your first day?

Raggsy - I can't keep up with your travels.

Grinder - you're sounding as chirpy as ever. This is nice.

Heard a great insult today which I'm dying to use. "When his IQ reaches 50, he should sell."

    Fire-lighting time.

      Good afternoon Froglette, fellow Undies.

I had a two hour nana nap this afternoon. I reckon last nights rooly bad sleep accounted for that but I'm on a go slow now anyway. It's very cool.

Rags, love the Jetty but have a hot date with a nearly 19 year old and his mates. Birthday time for the big locust. He's a bit worried the Lamp and I could embarrassed him/cramp his style but as I told him, his people will be my people haha, can't wait...

      Bali over Mower I say.

Bridge how did it go? Cakes :h

Oh no, that's bad timing Raggsy. I think I'll be on the Sunshine Coast on Friday night. Could we maybe do coffee on Saturday before you go back?

Tawny I'd go with the Bali option.

        How was the job Bridgey?

That's bad news Tawny...does the mower shop do a 2yr interest free thing? Or the holiday shop...?
Undies I'm intrigued a little by the bearded woman who won Eurovision...I love that she's embracing that & there's a platform for it. And she won! Go the crazy Europeans. I love Eurovision.

Will be staying at a hotel at southbank on Friday night. Anyone want to join me for dinner at the Jetty? Looked at the menu and looks like terrific food.
Will most likely drive back to NSW Sat/Sunday.
Have to get the 8:27am train to Sydney. So, oo roo till this evening.

Hah! Some people can't even cook an egg!

Have a wonderful first day Bridge.
that's a coincidence... we were planning a date night at south bank friday night with desert at max Brenner.

will have to organize somit ragsy.

Fickle and anyone else who has made this bread - did you use a silicon loaf tin (as it prescribes in the recipe) or just a normal one??

I've got a silicon loaf pan at home but didn't bring it with me ??? and I'm buggered if I can find one in any of the places I've looked so far. (Kmart and Target included). Lots of silicon bakeware, but no loaf tins! I really like cooking yeast based breads in silicon tins but I'm wondering whether I might just give up and get a normal one.

I too had a raw desert Happs.. made myself a chocolate mousse tart which the kids turned up their noses at (due to chocolate mousse containing avocado) which was fine by me :H so they made themselves another very fattening double layered chocolate cake which was not even vaguely interesting to me. Had a good long chat with kidlet overseas day before as she?d been out clubbing and thought Saturday was mothers day. Played board games, went walkies with kids & dawgs and generally enjoyed the pretty autumn day.

Actually had first day at new job last week, but yep it should be the best solution for this year's master plan.
...and let's face it a stack of public servants are going to be unemployed by this evening, so I'm lucky to have a job at all.

Why are these vented mandrils so flimsy????

Bugger the grass. Go to Bali.

Not really travel. It's to trade in the white Getz (not the yellow happy Getz) which is manual, for an automatic as it hurts my arm and shoulder so much when I change gears. The silly people in NSW want to sell me way overpriced cars, so I got a great deal from Bruce at Moorooka Motors. 2nd hand Hyundai i30, 20,000 on the clock, for about $16,000. Good deal. Getting a fairly good trade in too.

Treating myself to a hotel and classy dinner Friday night, then stay Sat/Sun at my friend at Thornlands in exchange for teaching some kiddies to tie a sheet bend and figure 8 knot.
Drive back home Monday and Tuesday. Get car inspected Wed morning, and registered Wed arvo.

hNo worries. Next time. I promised Bruce that when the ute is finished I'll drive it up for him to have a squiz. That won't be for a while but.

I'm canoing (well observing) with some girly guides Sat morning and knotting on Sunday morning,
so Sat late-ish arvo should be OK. Give you a ring?

Corrie, I was googling trailers a few days ago and there are some rippers in Perth somewhere near the (sigh) OKA factory.
I suggested to Mr Rags that I really should drive over there to have a look at them and to stroke an OKA (sigh) while I was over there. So, sometime in the next 18 months I may wend my way for a coffee with you.

I saw the nuns from Sri Lanka yesty and they invited me back to Sri Lanka. Might put it on the list. There's some train ride you can do from Columbo to Kandy then Kandi down to Gaulle. I think there's scuba diving somewhere near Gaulle too. That could be fun. Then stay with the nuns a few days.

Reggie hasn't been here for a while. I assume he's OK . Maybe he doesn't need the MWO site any more.

I couldn't see any shoes on the ALDI site. Are they anything like my gorilla feet? I've had these about 3 years.
