Cakes, yeah, I know what you mean. I spend a lot of time when people are hugging me patting them and saying it'll be fine...what is that?

Had a saline drip put in and then the first lot of drugs manually popped in and in between saline again and the other one got hooked up to the drip. I thought the second one was going to go in manually.

Another giggle. Sitting with the Lamp and read that we have to use a condom to have sex within the next 7 days. I read it, nudged the Lamp and gave him the reading material and he pulled such a woebegone face, I snorted. So elegant.

My mouth feels like I've been to the dentist and had a filling...metallic taste coming in already. The CT scan showed I had some cysts on my liver but the oncologist said he wasn't concerned about them and I know that when I had my pelvic ultrasound last year they had detected a small cyst on one ovary. So I am aware of how lucky I am to NOT be drinking and adding to this.

Feeling a little woozy. But still capably of being bendy and smiling.

There's always large citrus fruit as a backup.

Was going to suggest large citrus fruit and DYI as an alternative, but thought better of it.

Glad you're still smiling Happs. And bendy. Did I understand properly that you have to do this once every 3 weeks for the next 3 months, and then it's weekly for the next 3? And if so, have they told you whether the side effects (fatigue and the metallic taste) get worse or better as time goes on?
