    Hi Undies. I met a good number of Aussies in New York last week. Must be escaping from the deep freeze you all are experiencing LOL. So good to see CW checking in. Now I'm waiting on a G-Man appearance!?

        Evening Undies, I've been extremely B&I so pls excuse lack of postage.
        Raggsie, woulda loved to meet you at Vivid but no time this week unfortunately.
        I did the brekkie shift this morning(6.30 start) now I gotta do dinner & take larger monkey to Cubs..but it's cool, Offsprings on later...hopefully I can stay awake till then!!!
        Operation Taco Tuesday (on a Wednesday) is underway...
        You all provide much smilage for me :thanks:

          Good morning everybodeeeee! everyone awash with too much sport - State of Origin night - or too much Offspring last night? although, there is never too much Offspring...

            Morning Troops!

            Bit chilly around the willy this morning.

            I've got a cold and feel quite sickie sick. I'll not cry, I'll not be mean to others, I'll not whine and moan - I WILL conquer. But, I do feel roolly sickie sick.

              I agree about never having too much offspring ..... whether they are yours or whether they are not But I just dont get State of Origin - in fact cant even work out whether it is league or union!!!!! I dont really give a fat rats clacker about it really, but I find it useful to have the essential facts about me when I am in an enforced situation during which small talk is necessary. I have one of those this morning, so I shall scuttle off to scour the news so that I dont appear to be completely mute

              All I can fathom is that everyone seems very excited about it this morning and apparently the wrong team won :H:H:H

              :l Nicey. There are multiple bugs going around ........... I'm the only one here who hasn't had a sick day this week, and we have had two people off since last Thursday. MAybe you should give in gracefully????

              Once I get through this big report I feel like I might be due for some sick leave/TOIL myself

              So sad to hear about Maya Angelou ...... but there was a life very well lived.

                Can you forward me a 100 word briefing when you get it, including buzz words that I can strategically sprinkle into my own conversation today? Nothing too open ended please. They may wish to have a real conversation about it

                  Oops - seems I was remiss in not reporting back about the in-law visit. I'm sorry. :b&d:

                  So...It went really well! They seem like a very nice couple and they have a sense of humour which is always a good sign. It started with a handshake and ended with a hug and we all told our respective children afterwards that we liked each other so that bodes well.

                  I'm off to get a root canal treatment soon - the fun just never ends!

                    Ooooo root canal, lucky Glassy! Good to hear you're in with the laws...or something.

                    Stat of Origin - it's rugby league love, the Blues (NSW) won. Which is the correct team winning. But it's a 3 game affair so all will REALLY be revealed after game 2 in a few weeks. This is the game the Blues usually lose. And then they usually lose the 3rd game too so the Maroons (QLD) become the overall winners. At least, that's whats happened for the last 10 years *sigh*

                      we got a house and move this weekend.
                      I will be off work and with out internet for a week or so.
                      be good undies and love one another.

                              I usually stop football conversations dead by commenting that they hardly set a good example to the rest of society by brawling on and off the field, getting disgustingly drunk, sexually abusing women, etc, and league is touted as a game for the family to enjoy.

                              I'm pretty good at stopping cricket conversations too. (except with New Zealanders who agree wholeheartedly with me that it was a disgrace)
                              I just say that I stopped watching cricket the day Greg told his brother to bowl underarm.
