Hey all - I hope to get back to this in a bit.....but, hubby is having a rough day/lots of pain. So, it's hard to do anything right now. :upset: Just a very tense evening and I think I'm going to curl up & try to read but probably go to sleep.

My mom's sister entered hospice care today. Really sad for her and my mom. Auntie is 91, so a pretty good run, all things considered. She has congestive heart failure and decided that enough is enough.

Helping my mom to deal with the news, and my mom has made her own decision today- no surgery for her lungs. She's decided that since my auntie (only remaining sibling) is dying, my mom does not want to stick around, shall we say.

I think she's right on about the surgery, but I do hope she will hang around quite a bit longer, as you all can imagine.

Nora, I am so sorry about hubs. I'm glad you are home with him to help out.

Nora, I hope hubs is feeling better today. Do you need to take him to the doctor? Chronic pain is the worst! :l Between the two of you, you've been doing a lot of care-giving lately. I wish I could magic myself out there and take care of you!

Dottie, I was pulling jeans out of my closest to give to Good will, and what do you imagine I found in one of the pockets? My old fitbit "one", LOL! I searched feverishly for the "dongle" to recharge it (dongle sounds so pervy!), to no avail. I will check and see if I can order one online.

I'll be thinking of you during step-son's ceremony. I did think of something. If step-son is rude to you, I hope hubs doesn't tolerate that. Like, if step-son says or does something really out of line. It's hub's duty to protect you from that sort of b.s. from his family. Life is too danged short, you know? :h

Hi all,
Stayed in bed all day yesterday. Not sure what made me sick but symptoms were like food poisoning but not sure. Feeling much better today.
fen so sorry about your aunt and hope your mom doesnt give up. Glad u found the fitbit and but lost toe dongle...;-)) Dh's son has not been overtly rude just not nice.
I am going to try and hit the gym. I hate losing an entire day but at least I feel better.

Pauly... I ordered a pizza last night too... totally pigged out and in regret mode today!

A friend came over yesterday and we did a movie marathon (complete with popcorn and pizza). I feel really lethargic today, reckon it's the carbs. I'm off to see the Cirque du Soliel tonight... the parking etc. will be a nightmare but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Off to tidy up the house... I've been a complete slob and I can't stand it!

Hey all,i need to clean house today too Zen,off to the 99 cent store for some supplies,it's one thing to slob around for a bit,but a dirty house gives me anxiety for some reason,and yes i too feel lethargic from the crap food last nite,hello to everybody and yes i will take a moment to honor our vets,in reality i do appreciate them everyday,i sure as hell couldn't do their job or cops/firefighters,i'd be rolled up in a ball crying! so yes i do love 'em all,hope everybody has a good weekend,Lovr you all

Zen dh doesnt see it the same way I do but I will not hesitate to point out anything that upsets me and he can deal with it or if he leaves it to me he knows it will not be pretty....
Sun is out and promises to be a beautiful day and weekend.
My head still hurts from that darn board....I guess it will take time. Hard head or not it hurt..dh has moved the board...

Yeah Dots, I totally agree with you on that one. My man better defend my honor...and I am not being silly.
My heart went pitty pat the other night when my oldest said something very disrespectful and Bret shredded him for it.
You and hubs BOTH need to wear helmets around the house, btw.:H
