      Congrats Dottie - that's a huge milestone.

Nora, will you be able to check in while you're away?

I can live with that! :h

BTW - another vego here. Vegetarian for 38 years and getting closer to vegan for the last year or so.

Hiya Zen - have you seen this website:
21-Day Vegan Kickstart / a Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) site
They have a 21 day challenge where you can get meal plans and all sorts of other info.

Glass I have that site too and subscribed. I didn't do all of it but gave me some really good ideas.

              Another one!!!

I hadn't seen it but I'm going to check out the Kick Start. Sounds like it would be handy while I'm finding my feet. I wasn't even vegetarian before but I always bothered myself eating meat. Those docos, you know... ugh. The health aspect is huge too...

Thanks for the link, will bookmark.

Late night post... here's something weird. I'm always hungry at this time... I do my damage eating late at night. And I'm not hungry?

Kradle... do wish you'd check in. I'm going to sulk...

                  Good morning from the heathen.
Zen will have to come to my house and take me shopping and love here for a month to convert me
It sounds like a lot of work and money, initially, but I am game.
The carnivores in my family can fend for themselves!!!

mama, it's actually cheaper if you don't go all fancy-dancy. My dinner last night was a taco. Just a corn tortilla, refried beans, onion, peppers and avocado. Not pricey at all.

Gotta go and meet with my lady and then take mom to her appt. Then, cabin.

                    Love you guys!

                      Hi all,
Cold here again. Heat on heat off....drat
Off to the gym. Dam scale is not budging. Maybe this is where I will just stay forever. I dont want to knock myself out every day for the sake of fitting into skinny jeans. Maybe it is my age but I just dont feel the pressure to be thin like I used to. With age comes wisdom???

It IS a bit of work and money initially Mama, but now I have the staples I'll bet it's going to be lots cheaper than eating meat.

It's so bloody hard to get rid of poundage for me these days too Dottie... very frustrating. I've been comfort eating this last month or so and I don't feel good about my weight AT ALL.

:wavin: Fenny! If I don't "see" you before you leave, have a good time at the cabin!

Juice then gym, then I'll head to Whole Foods I guess... meh!
