I haven't done much today. I had a neighbor stop by (he's in his 90's and gets out to walk everyday). He told me that my brother is getting tired from taking care of my Mom and my Uncle. I just thanked him and said that I know and that I had talked to my brother about that. There's not really another option right now. My brother still wants to do this. But, I'll talk to him when he gets home and see how he is feeling.
Think I might go out & pull some weeds since Mom is sleeping in her chair. I'll be back.

I read Julie Andrews' autobiography and was surprised to learn that she was a child prodigy! You can find clips of her singing on Youtube at the ages of 12 and 13. Amazing voice, even then. She was one of my very first crushes! :H Pretty much any female Disney star was fair game for the young Fenny.Comment

Fenny - you crack me up!!
I took vocal lessons for years and sang at weddings, the church choir, a band, the Symphony, etc...and Julie Andrews was always my inspiration.....she has such a pure, beautiful voice....

FT - Good to see you again! Glad to hear about your love :h But sorry about the job. Lord knows I have been trying to change job paths for the last 3 years....
So my mom is probably not having surgery on Thursday. She was scheduled to have it at the Tribal Clinic (she is Native American) but the anesthesiologist found out she has A-Fib and now he's not comfortable with her not being in a hospital. So now they are going to the doctor today to reschedule for the hospital. I'm thinking next week? My sister will go with them. We decided that one of us will be with them always no matter what they say. We'll just show up and go...and we dare them to stop us. LOL
Dottie - Wish you could come tend my weed garden. I have a nice little plot that would be so pretty if SOMEONE would take care of it. My dad planted artichoke plants about 3 years ago and those things die off then overnight pop up randomly. LOL I have no green thumb at all. I can even kill a cactus.
Finished House of Cards last night. After all my exclamations over King Henry, I lost interest in The Tudors after the Anne Boyeln era...so now what? I do have kind of a funny Netflix story from last night. I was watching this movie called "Jailbait" (yes, the title should have given it away...) but you know me and my love for prison/jail stories. Anywhoo...it turned out to be soft porn. LOL
So yeah...any suggestions for Netflix tonight? LOL
