One Step at a Time - May 2014
Well, I am happy to report that the temperature here got all the way up to 80- hasn't been that for eight months, at least. I wore shorts and most likely blinded everybody in my path with my pale legs! :H
My trillium are ready to bloom, Jack in the Pulpit are just beginning to come up, Bleeding Hearts are blooming, Columbine is coming up, Mayapple and Solomon's Seal all coming along...my daffs are all blooming, along with hyacinth. Tulips are getting ready. Everything is so far behind! My raspberries took a real hit this winter. Very few of the canes survived. Not sure if my grapes will live.

Fen. I would love to see pics!!! Bulbs don't survive in Florida and I miss them.
My granny's front yard was covered in daffodils. I think they are my favorite.

Morning all,
Off to the gym then grocery. They are predicting rain so that is good for my garden. Need to plant my flower seeds too.
I wear shorts and my legs are bright white and I just don't care. I think that is a sign of "old age" ;-))
Tomorrow I am having lunch with some folks I went to grade school with, I doubt I will recognize anyone. Hope they have name tags.

Hi Everyone!
My legs are nice and tan...straight from a bottle! The cheap Suave brand does great, no streaks or Oompa Looompy business.
Ok I started a new show on Netflix last night, you might like this one Mama: Hemlock Grove. I also started Twisted but Sierra got all into it with me and wanted me to wait and watch it together later.
Someone just came over and said (well, screamed basically) "I hear you're going to PD!!!"...I was like, "Ummmm...hopefully". I'm glad it wasn't a secret, because it wouldn't be anymore! LOL The guy that did it is a complete mess...Wednesday he came to work drunk....
About Elli, the part that concerns me is if she's in contact with an adult, a predator. It's one thing to look at a website, but to interact with a person is where the danger comes in. I just hope she hasn't given out any personal information. I'm afraid Bri has a long, hard road ahead of her with that kid...and it doesn't seem like she has a clue what to do. And thank goodness she's adding another kid into the mix. (yes, sarcasm...lol)
It's FRIDAY!!!! I can't wait to be lazy!:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
Believe in yourself. You are stronger than you think.

Hey all,i agree with K9, one thing to browse a site, but if guys are actually talking to her, freakin creepy! trying to think back to when i was 8, i guess i was curious, but then i dont think so,these kids are more exposed to crap than we were anyways, they grow up too fast! Brady tried to go to school then texts me saying he feels like puking, great,i do self tanner too, except the other day i was looking at my legs and one is browner than the other, stupidI have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:
I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

Hiya luvvies!
Finally had a chance for a squizz-back. A couple of friends came over last night, I wasn't expecting that, and everyone got chatting into the wee small hours.
Mama... was there any damage to your car? That's crappy about Bri's daughter... I wonder how they found that site? Not good. (And the food talk doesn't bother me in the slightest.)
Nora... hope it's a better day with your mum today... :l (I'll go make a word...)
Niner... did your mum get her surgery date?
I use bottle tanner too... the L'Oreal one... a little goes a long way and it goes on quite well.
:wavin: to everyone else!
I'm in a rush again... things just seem to be getting away from me the last two days. Going to head to the gym now then shower and meet Cheryl for an early dinner. Hopefully I'll catch youz later on... X
