      This has been such a melancholy trip. :upset: I love being here with Mom and just love her to pieces. But, it is hard to see the changes.

      Plus, seeing the changes in my Uncle (my Aunt passed away right after my Dad last year). My brother takes care of my Mom and my Uncle. He goes in with my Uncle at the Doctor appointments, etc. I actually, sent my cousins a note yesterday saying that they should be checking in with my brother a couple times a month! That probably stepped on a few toes.

        Good for you Nora. All that shouldn't be on your brother alone. At least you help.
        Sorry you are feeling sad.
        Grant is so much better. The oxy makes him a little wired, but he's not nearly as much pain.

        Gonna flop for a bit and then go out for dinner

          Lunch was so very interesting. I have not seen most of these folks since 8th grade. The guys looked OK and the good looking ones I think looked better now. The women did not weather as well. The gal across the table from me was drinking some kind of mixed drink and looked like she just came off a bender. Not good but we had a good conversation. I had iced tea and remember all the conversations but I cant say as much for all the people. We had 6th grade and 1st grade class pictures passed around. what a hoot. We are going to get together again in 4 years. That will be 50 years, holy crap can it really be that long...we need to find the rest of the class to make it a real event. There were about 35 folks today...glad I went.

                Ugh,i feel like poop! all i want for the weekend is to rest and be a bum,Kell had work today so Louie duty for me of course,i feel guilty because,i love him to bits but so far i put him off on hubs,kids want to hang out,i really just want to go to bed
                I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

                Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

                  Good evening. Happy Mother's Day a little early. Wedding plans are going forward with incredible speed. The dress is home and it's stunning!!! I didn't cry when she has it on, I got weepy doing the food shopping. I starting to get nervous. Cleanup at the church today and I'm exhausted! Got home around 7 and pretty much just layed around. We are setting things up at church tomorrow. The pew bows, etc.

                        Nora... it's tough when the family are aging... I felt the same kind of bitter-sweet thing when I was home last summer. XXX

                        Sounds like an interesting lunch Dotts. I think I'd be SCARED of meeting some of the folk I went to school with! Especially the one chick that bullied me... gah! I bet she looks like a horse's backside now... she looked ugly enough then!

                        I had a good day out with my GF. We did some excellent bargain shopping and I have a couple of new outfits and a couple of pieces of bling (costume jewelry) to show for it. Her husband joined us for dinner then us two went to hear a live band afterwards... a bit of a late night but well worth it... lots of laughs...

                          Happy Mothers Day to my family here. Not much planned. A little housework and may lay by the pool and then go to Nana's and cook dinner for her. The boys gave me a sweet card and clay made me a sweet vase that says mom and has hearts all over it in his ceramics class

                            Had a wonderful day so far. Church then lunch with my best friend and her mom and sister. Had a lovely time.
                            Gym tomorrow then who knows what.
