One Step at a Time - May 2014

    Hi all,
mama that is truly a mess...feel for the parents.
Pauly good to see you here.
Off to they gym. Need to call the doc about the stress test. But the nurse said it would be read yesterday and would call if they saw anything so hopefully I am "normal" but will call the doc anyway. He needs to earn his fees.
Not sure what to do on this US holiday weekend. Of course the thoughts of having some wine comes up but need to push that back and concentrate on other things.
    Back later.

Mama, I rock at mowing, trimming and weeding. :H Too bad I can't visit. Have a lot of that to do between my place here in town and my place in the boonies.

Dottie, sounds like you're in the clear...good to give a call and find out for sure, though.

Mama... It's very sad... but I hope that you'll try and save some of you for yourself girlfriend. It seems that people push their drama off on you hon. That's all good and well for them but it leaves you feeling drained and you need to protect your energy... XXX

Nora... a glitch in the site lost me a HUGE post a couple of days back... it's damn annoying!!! Love you back by the way...

Dotts... I reckon the treadmill IS a stress test!

Niner... I can't wait for you to start that job. My friend Carol is a retired cop, she was with North Miami PD, and I used to ride with her. The stories you'll be relating to us are going to be awesome! I remember doing the cockroach dance at one domestic call... that was interesting.

Fenny... Did that huge racoon leave his business card?! :H Hot & cold therapy for the pulled muscle...ice packs first... (sorry to be redundant, I know you know that, but sometimes we don't take care of ourselves)... X I don't mind mice, or racoons. Now snakes or anything without legs... :wow:

You know what Fenny, I could not have put that any better myself. Maybe I was wrong, but I started him on monthly boarder payments and he's paid up till mid-June. He can't drink or be drunk in the house, if he is he has to go to Jim's. Them's the rules. He left at 9 a.m. and is gone till Tuesday 6 p.m. (I bargained an extra day out of him). He's very lawyer-like with his exact times, huh? Fecks sakes. Anyway, I'll wait and see how he behaves after his reflection period but I'm very much on the same thought train as you on this.

This will be the first time in almost 2 years I have my house to myself... he never goes anywhere. It's freakin' awesome! I might even throw a party!

I got my hooves and even my hands done yesterday... my nails are a fluorescent pink. Got my 'tache and brows done too. And had dinner at a restaurant called the Farmers Table... organic and lots of vegetarian dishes... the food was fantastic.

Poor Bri....its got to be hard waiting.

This day is driving me nuts, but then again they all do. They wanted me to go to Ventura (90 miles away) tonight at 6pm for my 4 hour psyche evaluation...I had to tell them that won't work...we leave at 5am for my moms surgery tomorrow. So they kindly rescheduled it for NEXT friday at 7am...

My boss basically told me to start wrapping things up...I am THAT close...finally!

Need to catch up with you all...back later.
