    Bi-polar?

    Hi Nancy--
Here are a couple of helpful links (I've followed the "script" to insert these as usable links, but I don't know whether they will work or not!):

All sorts of links to different info sites:
    www.psycom.net/depression.central.bipolar.html

This one is excellent for Bipolar II and mood disorders in general:
    psycheducation.org

        Bi-polar?

        Nancy,

When I was first doing research on Topamax, some of the most enlightening info I read was from people who were prescribed the medication off label and were posting their experiences on Bipolar message boards. MWO patients who suffer with bipolar often notice a mood-stabilizing effect and we attribute this to the drug's action in inhibiting excess neuronal activity. (For drinkers, it affects both glutamate and GABA.)

You may wish to Google around and see what you come up with.

(Nice job, Susan--your links work just fine!)
