So I just heard from my connection in HR that 3 other people applied for the Water Treatment Plant job. We'll see what happens. I recently learned the hard way not to count on ANYTHING.

OMG Zenny...you cracked me up...several times :H BTW...I am a Libra too!!

So the lady retiring (Joyce) works closely with the secretary (Theresa) that is the next level up. So I went over to Theresa and told her I'd applied for Joyce's job and she was so happy, she said she'd love to work closely with me. She also told me that Joyce will make the final decision (because that is how she rolls...LOL). Joyce can be a bit "difficult" sometimes, I think if I went over to Water and agreed to do ANYTHING for them, they'd feel spoiled. LOL

Mama - How is our very own Pennsatucky doing these days anyways??

You all are cracking me up. :H I had so many responses written last night but I ended up shutting down my computer. Last night, hubby had to drink all that yucky stuff for the colonoscopy/endoscopy this morning. Anyway, everything looked good!!! ray: I had prepared myself for cancer. So, we still have no answers as to why he has lost so much weight. (He looks like the wind would pick him up and blow him away)

So now I need to read back & get caught up with you all again.

After a few laps around the Buffet tonight, I am gonna take a long bubble bath then get into bed with my book...not even gonna bother with Netflix tonight...Pennsatucky will have to wait another day! LOL

Contractor called 10 minutes before we were to meet him to say he had to reschedule...damn....it will be Christmas before we get it listed..but I can not control this so I have to let it go. Dh got the crack in the steps patched and some of the ceiling in the bathroom cut...I wanted to hire it all out but he wanted to work on it so I am not going to argue with him either.
I am tired.....
