Had a good visit with my dad but still sad to see him go downhill with the Alzheimer's....

My 60th birthday is tomorrow and I plan to eat my way through dinner and desert. Then back on the plan!!

So I just heard from my connection in HR that 3 other people applied for the Water Treatment Plant job. We'll see what happens. I recently learned the hard way not to count on ANYTHING.

I know a little something about State jobs...they have to appear to make the effort to put the position "out there"...but, retiring lady can totally coast you into that job. At least, that's how "State" jobs are here in WI, sad but true. I do hope you get the job, niner!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Mama, I totally know you aren't taking my marriage lightly! Of course, the overturn was repealed, so tons of WI gay peeps are unable to marry again. This is probably temporary, but will go on for another year. At least Mrs. Fen and I are legal.

I did so much at the cabin, but still have not managed to get my electric fence up. If I don't, I will get nothing from the garden. The plants aren't big enough to tempt anything right now, so I have some time.

I am so grateful to all the straight peeps out there who are fighting for us...like our judge who married us. And all of you who have good hopes and vote for us. :h

well hubs son finally called tonight...I will keep my big mouth shut on this one but I swear if we go ther in July and he pisses me off I am going to unload on him....15 years or so of BS.....for now I am quiet and pleasant.....NOT me....but me for now...

our friends that went to Canada to get married are passing through here for a visit...they have not met our 4 legged kids yet so that will be fun and we will all go out for dinner or something....

My fennel-mobile is in the shop. I have been parking in the driveway next to the tool shed at the cabin- I figured since I removed the wood chucks and "chuck-proofed" the shed, I'd be okay. Nope. Some of the mice or squirrels or god only knows what caused both my ABS light AND brake emergency lights to come on this weekend.

Morning loves. Spent all day at the lake and have not read back. I am having terrible pains under my left breast and I am certain it is a pulled muscle, but my doctor said to get here ASAP, so I am in doc office
