One Step at a Time - June 2014

Can you take a picture and send it to me Dotts?

I THINK you can fill the holes without having to put new cement board on... depends on how big they are. If that's the case, it's much easier.

See if you can email me a pic or post it here... I'll get my handyman friend to look at it.

Man y'all are chatty tonight. Yay!
Dots, I have lots of people that work for me on the apartments. Wish I had a pneumatic tube too. I probably spelled that wrong cause that damn skwerl is smarter than me.
So, being a heathen meat eater isn't ALL bad, huh?
Nursie, your post made me happy.
Bri is watching OITNB and now I call her Pennsatucky all the time. She just laughs.
K9, I am so happy and proud of you. Can we get hitched sooner, now?
Just got some Stouffers out of the microwave and going to chill. I feel SO much better due to the Wendy pain pills the doc prescribed. Non narcotic and I am not stoned and am able to work. 50 mg of Ultram is saving me.
Glad you tlTTFP Nora and now we just have to get K9 some.
I have beer and wine in the frig and for some reason it has no appeal. Bit I'm not stupid. It needs to go away.
Nana bought a new car today and is giving hubs her three year old Cadillac!
Now we won't look like the Clampetts driving around anymore!
I love my family more than alcohol.:h

You know... I have a 2001 Lexus RX300 and that thing just keeps on going, and going, and going. I had the engine re-hauled last year and I can (and have!) beat an 8 cylinder 2 year old car from a standstill. However, the front seats are shot to hell. I know it sounds crazy to put new seats in a 2001 car but I really like my vehicle and I could get them at a junkyard with a bit of looking. Nobody shares my enthusiasm for this idea! I guess because everyone likes a new car. Me too... just can't afford one. Does it sound daft?

OK. I'm around tonight. I'll send them over to Ken and he'll know the best route to take.

I'm fairly sure, at the worst, that you can easily cut out the existing board and butt up a new section. But he will know what's best.

Hey all - just wanted to check in & say thanks for all the support. :h:h I have a horrible headache (sometimes the AB affects me that way but it will be better in a few days after I get it in my system for a longer time).

Going to have some hot soup and chill so might not be back tonight.

I am so very grateful to have you all here - I'm so happy to have you as my friends. :l:l

Have to do that before we can get the tub reglazed....even asked them for some but nada.
How much backer board? When I re-did my downstairs bathroom, I used special screws to attach it..with a vapor barrier behind it.
