Wee fly-by but I'll be back in a while if anyone's around. I'm camped out at Jim's house today overseeing his a/c unit being installed... he had to go help a friend and couldn't get out of it. (Now that he drove the GF off with lack of a/c and hot water he has installed a new water heater and is replacing the entire a/c unit! I shouldn't laugh, but it's quite amusing imho!) Anyway, I'll be around a bit today as this is going to get booooring over here!

Going to feed Marley and make some lunch for moi...

I've started easing into the "Whore Moan Doc's HCG Protein Diet". :new: I just had an 2 eggs and 2 egg whites scrambled with fresh cilantro and a fried organic tomato. Sounds like shit now that I've typed it! :yuk: More protein for dinner with a bit of veg. I have to start eating Breakfast Lunch & Dinner (I don't DO breakfast) and stop snacking... waaaaa! On Monday I start the daily HCG jabs and go straight protein for a week, not even veg. I'm going to stay with fish and eggs and perhaps a steak once a week... a kindly raised cow steak... I have guilt pangs from last night's dinner.

When the compounding pharmacy opens (in 2-3 months) they're going to be doing business with their company and they gave us a VERY good deal yesterday. I've never been on a "formal" diet before and it was very comforting getting my game plan handed to me on a plate (so to speak!) Made me feel quite posh.

I have an inspection with the bank lender that holds the note on the property on Tuesday. It's an annual event. Anyhoo, the inspector is a gay man named Phill. he is an arrogant bully and I despise him. He is very condescending and I call him Phill the Pill behind his back, like every mature adult should.
The thought of all of ya'll talking with tool belts on made me think about our Octo-Orgy....just sayin...:shocked:

On Monday morning I texted her to let her know I was running last and told her about my chest pain and that I needed to get an EKG. Her response was, "Ok. Can you grab me something from McDonald's on your way in?" She has not heard the end of that one yet.....

Fenny - It's interesting to hear how OITNB is veering away from the book...I think I'd really like to read the book now! I LOVE me some crazy eyes...I saw an interview with that actress and it's amazing how she can pull off that character. I was all into it last night when I made the mistake of texting my gay friend that retired to tell him I was going to the Water Plant (he worked there MANY moons ago as the Office Manager)...so of course he didn't text back, he called and I could NOT get off the phone for 45 minutes...LOL...thank goodness my phone battery died or I'd still be on there. HA (p.s. not that "gay" matters, but it gives you a better idea of how he LOVES to gossip...I know, stereotypes...sorry but it's true in this case...lol)

K9, do read the book! I really enjoyed it. It's quite different, though...Piper's fiancee never wavered in his support for her in real life. She was so fortunate that she had so much support on the outside, and a job waiting for her after her sentence. Oh, and she'd been with more women than Alex/Nora.

She's an excellent writer, and she captures those scary first days in detention perfectly, along with the dehumanizing things inmates must endure at the hands of the C.O.s.

As for stereotypes...there's always some basis in truth for them, LOL! :H

I requested the OITNB book from the library, I am looking forward to reading it...I only have 3 more episodes to go, then on to Mad Men Season 6. I have to say I hate Don Draper, but I've come this far I have to keep watching *sigh* LOL

The City Administrator was here chatting and I just told him I didn't "pass" the pshychiatric evaluation to go to PD...he was eating a cookie and he laughed so hard that crumbs flew out of his mouth. I told him that yes, I am crazy, but apparently not the right KIND of crazy. HA

I need to check out the Pet Diahrrea read...Forrest has been having the squirts, and when he goes he looks back at it like he can't figure out what's happening. Then he spends the next 15 minutes slowly and lovingly licking his arse-hole...it's the grossest sound. LOL

I think I will take a nap at lunch today...my boss isn't here, nobody will notice a 1.5 hour lunch!

I'm going to take her to the vet in the morning if I can get an appointment fenny. She's now off her food and listless and her eyes are dull so she's not at all happy. I don't want to be anxious about her all weekend.
