One Step at a Time - June 2014

Go on and send the letter Niner... and best of luck with it. I'm sure they will help you. You're not looking for a hand-out, just a hand... and I'm sure they'll appreciate that.

    Arvo to a'body else!

Just heard the coffee pot being ready, off to get a cuppa...

Hi EW, Zenny, Fenny, Rusty, Mama, Nora, Kradle, Nursie and everyone else!

Fenny, How did the Squish-A-Boob go today?

Kradle... You have the patience of a saint! I never had kids and I doubt my patience levels are where they need to be for dealing with the stuff you moms deal with! Hats off to you...

Dotts... I think you have a plan of attack for the dreaded visit... just keep yourself busy and leave them to it. It's his daughter and his ex-wife therefor his responsibility to entertain them. You can have a wee snigger to yourself every time you walk out the door and leave him to it or call him to say you've been held up. *evil grin*

EW... What are you up to work-wise these days? Didn't you start your own company a while back? Or am I confused? (Probably!)

Nursie... Have fun with your uncle tonight!

Mama... Has "Tucky" shown up yet? She's prolly building a case to be off Friday and you won't get to hand her her warning, dammit!

Reccy and Fenny... My scoliosis goes through good patches and bad patches. If it was bad all the time I'd be whining non-stop... haha! I'm worried about it getting worse as I get older, but I don't want to start on doctors visits as I'm not interested in wearing a brace or having an op. Maybe bracing further on down the line but an op is not gonna be happening.

Niner... We're playing another waiting game so soon?!

            Hiya Rusty!

            :wavin: at everyone else!

It's a lovely day here today... if the weather holds up I may hit the pool this weekend for a bit. (I always say it but hardly ever do it.)

I'm just about to tackle what's left of the laundry from yesterday then I need to get started on some pharmacy work.

For those interested :H... my a/c has been running so efficiently since it was fixed. It was running way more beforehand and I'll bet I'll save money on the electricity bill now. Happy days.

Yes Zenster have a couple of businesses setup now - one doing my writing and the other doing some videogame production.

              How's the pharmacy going?

Fen - hope you got on OK today.

Nursie - good to see you.

Reccie - I thought he got off lightly!

OMG...'Tucky is in the hospital??? I'm sure this will turn into a week long ordeal. WTF is all I can say about her. At least you hadn't given her the write up yet...I can see her claiming that "stress" brought on early labor....

My car is paid for...you know the one that when I hit a speed bump numbers 4 & 6 fall off the radio? :H I still love it though, and if I ever DO get a new one, it will be the same make/model.

Yep...she's being monitored....convenient, I might add, as it just dawned on me she had no sitter today and has to work Saturday
but to be clear, I DO want the baby to be ok....I am not THAT evil

Mama, wtf? When is she due? My first thought was to wonder if she's really in the hospital. She's so sneaky, and the weekend is nigh...

K9, awesome that your car is paid for. I really hope you get some good news from your peeps soon!

Mammo went off without a hitch. The radiology doc will look at the pics later today and I'll receive a call if they need me to come back for more.

Gosh, I agree about Suarez getting off lightly. They could have suspended him for up to 24 games, and he only got 9. Pretty lame, considering he's a repeat offender. That pic of him sitting on the field holding his teeth makes him look like an idiot. He should be so ashamed.

Mama, require that she bring a doctor's note when she returns, stating exactly what and why. I have seen it all, and we used to have to bring doctor's excuses when we returned to work. I don't trust that one any farther than I could throw her.
