One Step at a Time - June 2014

You guys are right...I've been thinking about having a yard sale, but it's such a massive amount of work...it's easier to sit here and whine and cry to you guys :H My first plan of attack is to write down every penny that I spend for the next 30 days. I am only 30 days behind on my credit cards, I think bankruptcy is a bit extreme at this point! My housing is very expensive, but shit...if I even wanted to move (which I don't) I would need like $4,000 for first/last/deposit/transfer utilities...etc...so how would that be beneficial? Besides I love my house and I'm in a lease. I asked my sister what she thinks about me asking the uncles, but it's the second time she's ignored my question. I guess I know her opinion!

p.s. My girlie Sierra is so sweet, she offered to give up her SmartPhone to save money...now THAT'S LOVE! LOL
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

Believe in yourself. You are stronger than you think.

I USED to be a good soccer player ,Fen. All state, blah, blah. But then my bosoms appeared and I wasn't as fast. No kidding. And playing at the collegiate level was so much more competitive.

Well, frankly, those 44 longs would undoubtedly cause some issues. Even my relatively diminutive hooters are somewhat of a hindrance to me.

I hear you about the competitiveness, it's way intense as the players get older/more advanced.

What the heyall have you all been gabbing about?!! Pages of it... :goodjob:

I just plonked my arse on the couch... I'm beat. I got the a/c fixed yesterday and meant to post but it was also Bill's birthday yesterday and, being the nice person I am , I invited a couple of people over and made dinner.

I have no clue where the day went today... errands, cleaning, laundry, gym, tanning salon and it's now 7 feckin 30 already. One thing I know for sure is that time is becoming faster the older I get. :upset:

Mama made a good point, K9...is Sierra still working at the Panda Express?

Yard sales are a pain, but you could enlist Sierra's help- and if she is still with boyfriend, you could get free child labor x 2! :H

I wish I had better ideas. I know Mrs. Fen paid some decent money to the secretary where she used to work, to dictate a bunch of interviews Mrs. Fen had on tape between she and clients. Probably only took this lady a couple of hours to listen to these tapes and type out the conversation. Do you know anybody who could use a service like that? You could make your own hours.

Sierra never got the job at Panda Express, even though she had TWO interviews.

No pay raise at upcoming job...that went out the window with the PD job.

I am SURE I'm spending more than I realize...first thing will be to detail where every penny goes.

Too bad I'm fat or I could go back to being a stripper.

I really thought Sierra had that job nailed. Sorry I'm so out of the loop.

Also, you are seriously not fat.

Hellooooo! I wanted to drink so freaking bad today! Rushed around at work, then went to get my son's baseball trophy, then to te store to get teacher presents and stuff for camp. Then dealt with some work stuff. I almost planned a trip to the liquor store, but I said "not today, just get home". And I did. Then I still wanted to drink but it started going away after I cooked and had dinner. Whew.
Fen, good luck with the boobies tomorrow.
Mama, this broad you're working with is providing endless entertainment for the rest of us!
Niner, debt sucks. I went into foreclosure a few years ago and am just finally getting my credit score back up a bit. The debt is not the biggest problem, it's making the payments lol. As long as your credit cards are running half their max and you pay on time every month, it will start to increase your credit score.
I have a cool app called Credit Karma that tells me all about my debt, my accounts, and my credit score. Maybe check it out?
Also, you are a very good writer. You could look for some freelance work and make money for articles. You can google freelance writing jobs and see a whole bunch of them.
But mostly, get the sugar daddy. That's the sure fire way!!
There is not enough time in the day. I'm pooped.
I think I'm going to bed. SOBER!!
                          Day 1 again 11/5/19
                          Goal 1: 7 days :heartbeat:
                          Goal 2: 14 days :happy2:
                          Goal 3: 21 days :happy2:
11/27/19: messed up but back on track
12/14/19: bad doozy but back on track

                          One day at a time.

Nursie, what a day you had! I understand the temptation after an emotionally trying day. I'm so glad you are heading off to bed sober. :h

I'm on the right side of the dirt Fenny but I'm not feeling too quick at the moment! Like a snail in fact. I'm going to have an early night.

Money worries are the pits Niner. I've been through some very tight patches where I almost pulled my hair out. I think your idea about writing down EVERY penny spent for the next 30 days is crucial. It's amazing how things that nobody thinks twice about buying or paying for can add up. Especially food & household shopping imho. I put my mind to it two years ago and reduced the supermarket bills substantially. Coupons help, and if people in the line get antsy behind me I always think "apparently they don't need to use coupons so screw them"! If you have extra stuff you could make some money on and you don't want a yard sale, you could look for a consignment shop.

Seems to have been a surge of mammograbs... good job to all the responsible ladies in the group! How often do you all get them done? They try to get me in every year but that seems ridiculous (and costly).
