Reccy... Glad Miss Amy is back to herself. Can't believe she's coming up a year already... on Independence Day no less. Couple of months before the day your carpets, stove knobs and other chewables lost their independence! (She tried to systematically eat Reccy's house when he got her!)

Pauly... Married since 16... good grief! You need some kinda medal for that don't you? ) I'm glad you found your ring, that wouldn't have been a good thing to lose!

Alls... I'm like you, I think it through before I buy anything now. I had a huge clearance when I downsized and I never want all that crap again. I run pretty darn lean now and I like it like that. (With the exception of my closet!)

Yep when I read that email I wanted to run screaming the the liquor store....dh does not understand how much pressure and work this is..I think I will let him figure out what to cook for them...and how to entertain them too....I am just not up to it.
Seminar was very interesting. I think I will change primary care doctors. This new hospital has a different approach to healthcare. I have nothing to lose and maybe I will get some answers.

I hate not being able to get on here during the day! I tried about 4 different times and somebody walked into the office each time. I can hardly get reception on my phone at work so that doesn't work either. AARRRGGGHHHH

Reccie - I really enjoy swimming but I just sort of paddle my way from one end to the other. I'm so fat that I float and then I just kick my legs and swing my arms. :H

EW - thanks for asking if I was still focused. The answer is sadly no. But, I'm still hanging in there. Just need to get my head screwed on straight before I decide to pick up a drink. I can't remember how many days that it has been? 7?

Nursie - I'll have to look at the Up Band. I had only heard of Fitbit.

Dottie - you poor thing. I just can't believe everything you are dealing with right now. And then to have company.

Fen - I can't believe that it's been since 2010 for your mammo. Glad that you're going to go get checked.

Mama - so very HAPPY that your mammo looks good. Whew. Now if you can just get your chest feeling better.

Dottie, I am being straight up with you. I would never impose myself for more than two days, three max, upon anybody. This stay is extreme. They are hub's kin, so hubs should have to deal with them, provide their entertainment and food. As an introvert, I cannot imagine anything more stressful!

I am glad you found an alternative health care option. :h

Oh K9 - I am so sorry about the $ situation. I understand completely. I wish I had the magic answer. Last week when I ran to the bank, I only $20.00 in there. Total! Hang in there. :l I think you should go ahead & send the letter.

Dotts... I believe I caught you right... it's hubb's ex wife and son that are coming? Above and beyond the call of duty that one, I'm afraid. Perhaps you should plan some things to get you out and about on your own while they're staying with you.

I'm in my bed sans back pain thanks to the painkiller. I feel good for the first time in hours! I have scoliosis and some days it really pisses me off! And today was one of them.

Hubs x is only staying one night when they arrive and one night before they leave. His daughter and 13 year old grandson will be here for the week....X is continuing north to visit her family....sometimes I don't think he has a clue..then other times I am sure of it!!

So Dotts... has he actually planned to do things with them or is he leaving that to you? Unless I knew her personally, I'd feel very uncomfortable about the Ex staying.

I reckon line up your own things that you HAVE to do... that will get you some space. Maybe his daughter and grandson will be inclined to go out... will they have a car?

'Zactly Pauly! It just gets frittered away on small items... and it bloody well adds up. The cost of magazines is another peeve of mine. I hardly ever buy one now... special occasions like getting on a plane.

No X is taking the car and driving north to visit her family. His daughter and grandson will be with us for the week. I plan to talk to him tonight about plans for them and his role in all this...NOT what I am going to do for them....I dont deal well with kids to begin with and particularly boys...and we cant spend a fortune taking them somewhere every day. HE needs a plan and he needs it NOW..

Pauly - you are so right. I realize that I buy a water or soda at work most days. Sometimes, I go out to get lunch. Sometimes, I get something off the catering truck. We stopped at the liquor store and grabbed a couple of ice-creams today. I need to write down everything I spend!

I don't remember if I already said goodnight - but, goodnight. :H I am taking my son to the airport at 4:15 am so I better hit the sack. :h
