      Hello!

Glad you found your ring pauly. It's amazing that you've been married since you were 16!

Nothing wrong with paddling up and down the pool if you're enjoying yourself nora! Actually, swimming is rather helpful with keeping the pounds offl, I find.

You get up very early mrs bear!

Well done on not drinking yesterrday nursie. :goodjob:

My sympathies on the money woes, niner. Some good suggestions were made last night. Do you have a car? If so, could you trade it in for one with lower running costs? As zenny said, it's possible to make big savings on the supemarket shop if you really put your mind to it. A personal loan definitely makes financial sense, but I guess it depends on what sort of a relationship you have with your uncles. Debt and alcohol problems have something in common now that I think about it, they're both progressive and it really makes a lot of sense to get on top of them as quickly as possible before things spiral out of control. That is really grown up of sierra to offer to give up her SmartPhone, you must be very proud of her.

Glad you got the a/c fixed zenny. Sorry about the back pain. I must admit I sometimes forget about your scoliosis cos you hardly ever complain about it .

Try not to stress about your forthcoming visitors too much dottie. DH should definitely take much of the responsibility for looking after them and keeping them entertained, I think. I agree with fenny about not imposing oneself for too long, a week does seem excessive.

Kradle, sorry about madison, it sounds as though you have your hands full at the moment.

I agree with you about the need to throw the book at Suarez, EW, and it would appear that they have done exactly that. Not good for Liverpool though. :upset:

And finally...best of luck to team USA today!

I think I will get much done while they are here because I am not siting around waiting for dh to figure out what to do with them.
Going to be another hot day here and we are outside at the shelter setting up...asked them why we always to this on the hottest weekend....they scheduled it so we could help and then we didn't go on the trip since my doggie sitters couldnt come. Now for the July trip we are going to board them and I am not a fan of that either.....gotta chill out about ALL this...

Zen, I didn't know about your scoliosis, either...that must suck! :h

Hey, Reccie! I'm starting to pay a little bit of attention to all of this footy stuff...I heard that the American coach was griping about the German team getting an extra day of rest before the match. Are those legit grounds for complaint? I don't know much about it, trying to figure out if he's a whiner or not. :H

Mama, I hope the caffeine hits you soon! Seeing as tomorrow is Friday, I'm sure that Pennsatucky will develop an infected hangnail, or inflamed spleen or what-not. :H

Dottie, I have a fab idea...have daughter drop off ex wife at her relative's home on the way to your place, so daughter can have the car and ex doesn't darken your door...and seeing as how daughter is a daddy's girl, dh can spend loads of time with the two of them. You can busy yourself with the continued project of your folk's stuff, visit a friend for a couple of days, etc.

There must be tons of day trips and museums in your area that hubs and co. can visit. Are there any parks with hiking? Are they into that?

                Morning, morning!

Sleepy here....got up at 4:00 am. I am not a morning person. Pass me my Diet Coke. :H

Dottie - hang in there. :l

Mama - I can't believe that she gets another warning. Seriously, she's playing around on her phone and not working?!?!?

Ok - I'm pressing my luck here. Better get back to work (speaking of playing around while at work )

                Have a wonderful morning/day/evening all. :h

fen good ideas but ex's family is way north of here and they are coming to Ohio from Texas and we are in the southern most part of Ohio. So she cant drop her off but I do plan to busy myself with my folks stuff and I have a plumber going to the house one day and maybe another contractor another and I will insist on going alone so dh can spend time with them. hehehehe my trip will take longer than I thought of course....also I will be going to the gym...
His daughter is morbidly obese so walking will be hard for her not that it wouldn't do her much good. I will offer to take them to the gym with us and he can get her on the treddie...NOT wont
happen. We have lots of nice parks with trails here but it is just too darn hot to be out. Also looking at some museums....the grandson has ADHD so he doesnt really enjoy walking and looking at things. I dont know....there is a wii in the basement maybe he can play with that...

Good lord, Dottie. Morbidly obese with an ADHD son. I would spend tons of time at the folk's house! I am curious also as to how this four day trip morphed into an eight day scenario.

Hi fenny! I didn't read about that. Well, an extra day of rest does give Germany a slight advantage, it's true, but these timing issues are part and parcel of the World Cup and of football in general, so teams have to accept them and work around them as best they can. Sometimes the timings work in your favour and sometimes they work against you, but normally there's nothing you can do about them either way. Klinsmann may be trying to lull the Germans into a false sense of security with his words or maybe he's trying to manage his supporters' expectations (otherwise known as getting your excuses in early!).

Best of luck with the boob test.

Friday might be a good day to deliver the write up mama. That way pennsatucky will have the weekend to mull things over, always assuming she makes it in to work tomorrow...

                        :hallo: dots and nora.

You were SOOOO close Mama! (wonlt....lol)

Thanks for all the suggestions on my financial woes. I was talking to Fenny last night and when I think about it, things aren't THAT bad honestly...I just want to get them under control before they get BAD. I am "only" looking for 15K...and as I told Fenny, in my past life at my old company I would have just sold a few stocks and been on my merry way! LOL But those days are GONE. So I wanted to show you guys my "letter" to my family and see what you think:

                          Hi there Aunts and Uncles!
Ok, this is very awkward for me. I was wondering if I could ask a HUGE favor. I am slowly but surely getting into a financial bind. I?m doing my best to keep my head above water, but dang it?s hard! So here?s my question (no, it?s not to borrow money!!)?would anyone be willing to CO-SIGN a loan for me? I figure if I could get a personal loan and pay off all my debts I would be in good shape to make that ONE payment monthly. I promise, promise, promise that I would make the payments and not put you in any sort of bind; the loan payment will be my FIRST priority. I have already consulted a Credit Card Debt Solution company and they suggested the following:
                          1) Find cheaper housing;
                          2) Make more money (umm yeah?DUH!!? Lol)
                          3) File Bankruptcy
I think those options are a bit extreme?so I was HOPING?that maybe I could come up with a better solution with the help of one of you?.
Anyway, just thought I?d ask?its VERY hard for me?I?m so used to doing everything on my own, but sometimes a gal just needs help. LOL
And a ?NO? will be completely understandable, so no worries. Thanks for at least thinking about it!

                          Love you guys!

I may send it today...like I was telling Fenny last night, they have PLENTY of money...they could probably float me the loan themselves, but I don't like to straight up ask for cash! LOL

                          Back later peeps!

I just asked my dad if I should ask the uncles and he said "I am sure either one of them would be happy to co-sign, all you have to do is ask!"
