Kitty update: she's fine, had supper last night, but still keeping the White Terror from her; don't think Giada feels like fending off a boisterous puppy that weighs probably three time more than her. Coquelicot feels very left out at the moment. She'll get over it.#

Mother & DD coming for dinner JC.
That's ok - it's a distraction from 'effin local Town Festival (read as extra time in pub / different pubs / noisier pubs)
Times like this I wish I had grandkids to have an excuse to go down the town in the daytime !
I do not mind daytime activities in the town but all night crammed into a noisy pub is not me. Never was, even while drinking, but the alcohol dimmed my senses and I could put up with more.
Sorry I sound like a moan -but Mr S is playing the 'poor me' card a lot these days. Not in exact words but just the sort of " you don't go anywhere" vibe .......
Meaning I won't go to the places late at night I used to go to when I had alcohol to numb the pain......tiresome.....

Ahh Satz, he's just not playing fair.
Have to say this but there's nothing dafter looking than men (and women) of a certain age getting bladdered.
That's why I send Mr JC out with the 'boys' once a week and go to bed before he comes home.

Its him that needs to change, love. There's a whole new world out there that doesn't involve alcohol but does involve you.

Good morning army warm with sunny spells here. Good news on Giada Dreamy sounds like she's making a good recovery if she's eating a bit. Late one for you Tipps partying all night:H A good night was had by all. Roxy i'm hopeless with pc issues hope some one can help. Going to a barbeque at my sister later. Not really in the mood but it will get out me out for a couple of hours. No desire to drink so i'm ok there. Hay fever has at me the last few days so haven't been feeling great so a hangover on top of that to wake up to would be more than awful. Jc and Satz enjoy your day. 2nd coffee now. Ah the BBQ will be good Foxy.
Weather looks great and you should dress up, put on your shades and feel good in the knowledge you will wake up clear headed in the morning - nothing like it !!
I was gong to say eats loads - but BBQ's in Ireland tend to be just a mound of meat :H
Maybe bring some nice salads ?
The thoughts of these things are usually worse than the actual thing itself :l

Course yer not a looser, yer one of the winners.:l Mr Satz will got to the boozer one day and realise his pals are leaving earlier and earlier.........with any luck the penny will drop with a giganto clang.

Going to meet small dog, pop into garden centre and prolly a nanna nap.

And I want to print off a teddy bear knitting pattern so I can get it knitted while we're away.

Long gone are the days I'd pack me saucy nightie, whipped cream and wet celery....................now its me knitting and a good book.

Are you using Google Chrome to log on Roxy ? Until I did that I have fierce trouble .....
That and 'clear your cache' is the height of my technical knowledge:blushing:
