Afternoon army. Hows your trip going Molly? Sounds like you had a busy day. Well done on there funding Jc that's great news for you. Anon so sorry to hear you have a slipped disc that can be so painful just hope the physio or something can ease it fir you. No more running for a while. Enjoy your weekend away and just relax. Have to head out to the post office to pay some bills and get passport renewal forms. Rain has stopped for now so I'll walk up for the exercise. Its bout 25 mins.If you always do what you have always done, you will get what you always got.

After the food poisoning I do not think it is my week.
Well done jackie on getting funding for the NVQ that should keep you busy and out of trouble.
Looking forward to hearing all the news about Canada
Hope everyone is having a better day than me:upset:
I had a similar injury (lower back) several years ago. The pain meds didn't touch it and I couldn't get any sleep. As I waited to get into the spine specialist, I started following the suggestions in this book: 7 Steps to a Pain-Free Life: How to Rapidly Relieve Back and Neck Pain - Robin McKenzie - Google Books. Feeling like I had nothing left to lose, I was willing to give it a try. It wasn't an immediate cure but over time, it worked. I now do this general exercise as maintenance and get serious about it whenever I feel twinges of the old pain.
I've shared the book with several people who've had success with the protocol - perhaps you'll be one, too.
Take care, NS

Evening all,
Glad to be home, Molls.
Not sure about going back to skool as its home learning but I will have a tutor to meet up with at the addiction place. Trouble is I don't know many long words.............I know I'll get Pinkles to write me essays. It could be worse, I could be filing.

We probably get so little praise - we get emotional when someone is nice to us - and ye know we thrive on it don't we ?
