I have just about run out of options here in Toronto for getting topa. Keep getting denied. I think I read a post from someone who was able to find a Toronto doctor to prescribe it. Can you get in touch with me?? I need help!

I had the same experience I ordered the Topa from India and after 12 days I got it today!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to go on the Topa and then if it works I will hit a few more Drs. It made it through customs because I think I ordered a same quantity and the package was very small with a hand written envelop.
I know I was extremely frustrated. Didn't you order from somewhere and it was seized? Good luck!!! I feel like I won the lottery or something.

As a Nurse Practitioner who prescribes...I just do not understand this mentality of denying Topa when a peer reviewed journal like Lancet supports it's use. I would have no problem prescribing in this case with frequent follow ups to observe side effects. It seems you all in Canada have a very hard time getting it which is confusing to me.

Maybe we need to start an underground railroad to get it to our compatriots in Canada as if it were just a package from a relative in America or something. I don't know how fully scrutinized it would be or anything. I'm a babe in the woods about stuff like this, but it seems pretty damn unfair to me.

I live in rural Ontario where doctors are scarcer than hen's teeth.

I mentioned Topa to my doc when I started this path. I had the Lancet article as well. She wasn't sure and perscribed Wellbutrin instead. I never pushed it, but as I'm doing okay, I've decided not to.

I'm rather surprised that Canada is so sadly backward.
Heck, we have paved roads.

Well I thought immed maybe send some up there to you poor Canadians you know reciprocate for the bp medicine but it is an Rx & that is medically not wise.I would support a friend-to-friend process for further discussion but
1)we could no longer talk about it on the boards
2) since I do not know what I am going to do with my current rx if you read my other posts Jen perhaps we can communicate about some ideas a) ez mail first
