Did not say the dirty word, Roxydear! Said it looked undercleaned - vast difference! You still a happy one, otherwise?
Satzy, sounds as if you're off to Grease soon?
Working on the "at-home" habits, Molly - like with the booze, everything got done with a ciggy before, during or after, but at least the nicotine craving's gone, which makes life a lot easier. Zoo keeper sounded fine when I spoke to her - will probably see her later today. Lovely animals, did a lot of bird watching, Nice Lobsterman behaved himself when necessary and didn't behave himself when necessary14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

I want your job --- I would LOVE to work from home --- but I'd never lift a hand -- I just know I wouldn't --- 'later' -- 'soon' -- 'after a coffee' would be the mode words.......... do you achully DO anything (besides hairdressing)?
I am easily distracted - giddy was always on my report cards from school.
The gym guy told me I was too giddy & moved me up the other end to stop me chatting the other day:H
Reminded me so much of school

Hello friends,
I am off to the bush until Monday, it is a long week-end in SA...
We buried my mom on Wednesday...
On Thursday I did shopping for 40 people for the get-away...
We leave in convoy at 10 (note to self: remember the TOILET PAPER!!!)
I am looking forward to being surrounded by 40 sober people....
Time for silence and reflection....
Guess I will say my good-byes there....
Google Marakele game park, Thabazimbi if you want to see which animals I'd be hanging out with!
Hugs,
Sol xxx

Oh Sol, so sorry to hear about your mother. Treasure the memories - I'm sure there are lots and lots. Marakele is one of my favourite parks - if you're camping, stay close to the water hole for rhino watching. And you must go up to the loo-out point - lovely place for brekkie.14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

Hey Army!
Guess who's back...back again?
Hope you're all good.
I just today stopped drinking after 2 week binge. GAH! I had ten months AF before that.
Gutted but trying to save my life before it goes screwy again....digging out of the usual relationship and financial hole. Not the mention health one of drinking 20 litres in 2 weeks. It's scary.
Anyway, mind if I stick around a while? :new:

Absolutely DELIGHTED if you stick around --- quiet time of day right now --- I only happened to glance at the thread and spotted you there --- stick close --- we'll get you there!!!!!(that was a joke btw ---- only you can do it --- and you MUST!!!!!:l) Welcome back xxx
Yeah it's both good and of course bad to be back but think I will stick it out for a while.
I was diagnosed bi-polar last year and a big part of what I thought was keeping me sober was 'the meds'.
I recently had a lapse in taking them, so maybe that was it, but I think more likely I have been working like a trooper, helping the ex get setup in a new house with little-un, started up 2 companies with a good friend who I recently realised was getting me to do all the work, on his schedule and get the lions share, DEEP BREATH and my dream of working from home as a writer which I had time to do had gone to hell.
AND on top of it all I met a new lady as ex still hadn't taken me back after 10 months sober so I thought why not go on a date, she doesn't have to know I'm an alcoholic. BIG MISTAKE.
Get all that? hehe
How are you anyhoo?

Well now --- have you cut out as much of that as you can --- you know --- simplify your life? I know when I started getting TRULY sober I had to be ruthless and selfish with my sobriety --- it came first -- husband and children second - and they knew that as well and were happy enough with it ---- now I can 'indulge' others a bit more
It's great you can recognise what all the triggers were anyway --- and keep takin them meds --- YOU HEAR????:l
Now I must away and make some lunch --- I'll be back in while --- well done for coming back --- I really really mean that --- it's not easy xx
This place is pretty quiet these days....

It's so nice to see some of the birds have flown the nest though! Mario especially warms the heart as I know how he struggled a long long time. Of course good for the others too!
I see looking around the threads you are a one man band today - good on ya MollsIf you can't have one drink, don't have any - My Nan
